Kamps used to be excellent and they would actually check in with us if they knew that our propane was getting low and it was about time for it to get refilled. They had great customer service, and we would never think about going anywhere else! My husband said they changed ownership and now it's nothing but a hassle to try to get them to answer a phone through the Rocklin office. Apparently, this is not the same at every location but we have to deal with the Rocklin one bc of where we live. We are actively looking to buy our own propane tank so that we do not have to rely on Kamps anymore. I definitely would not recommend.!!

Tried to get service from them. After 4 days of no help or return phone calls I went with Amerigas and saved over $1.50 a gallon.

Would give 0. No option. Can't get an answer. Only a bill for services that they haven't delivered on. Then we received a second bill for more money from the same date that they still didn't deliver on. Called to many times to count with no answer to my questions. Told every time that Cory would call us back and still no call back, just the second bill yesterday. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Today I called corporate and left 2 messages. Waiting to see if I get a call back from them. Don't waste your time. Horrible service.

11/24/2021, 150 gallon Tank was filled 59.4 gallons to 80%, which is 120 Gallons.. without request for any additional propane a driver delivered 14.2 gallons on 1/13/2022 when the tank was at 70%.I was told a year ago Propane wont be delivered if its above 30%.1/13/2022 12:09pm, I called to inquire why it was filled again 1-1/2 months later when it didnt need it.The woman (dont want to mention names for fear of retribution) at Customer service said that it was odd and it wasnt scheduled.she stated she will talk to the driver and get back to me..she never returned the call.The Bill came in $60.65, and I noticed that the Hazmat Fee had also increased from $9.50 to $12.95.thats basically a $1.10 Tax per Gallon or 21.4% of the bill, outrageous.1/24/2022 1:30pm, I called customer Service and relayed my disgust.I told the Woman that I want the Hazmat Fee Waved as the delivery was not warranted.She stated that only the Manager at the Rocklin Facility can do it and would email him with my complaint and my threat of having the tank removed if not.over a month later I havent heard from anyone Phone or mail..when its time for the Tank renewal, I will find another source.this is basically the same reason I switch from A---gas to Kamps, now its a repeat of poor cumstomer service..A lock will be place on the cover to stop future deliveries.

Poor customer service. Manager (Cory) never calls you back. Trying to charge 2 different times for gas that was never delivered. Both of those charges were for the same "delivery" but have different amounts on the same day (the bills were sent out a week apart). Called and called only to find out that manager won't call back or provide any service to us.

I smelled that awful smell so I called the office, it was a weekend so the office was closed. I received a call from the manager, Corey who was very responsive. We discovered that we were out of propane on a Saturday. A bit of confusion with scheduling in the office and Corey made it right. He came out on Sunday morning with enough propane to get us through the weekend (cold showers are no fun) and then called first thing Monday morning and by Tuesday the tanks are full again. Thank you Kamps Rocklin for making it right and getting our schedule fixed. We have a monitor that tells the office when we are low. We have a locked gate and dogs so the delivery needs to be scheduled in advance, different from years past. Overall great customer service and highly recommended.

Cadence will never call you back when she says she will. Her supervisor, Corey won't call you back when he says he will either. Cadence will also charge you more than what she quotes you. She'll tell you she'll fix it, them mail you a bill with the over charge. She'll also charge you for any propane the previous owners already paid for and gifted you (so they'll have 2 people pay for the same propane).This is an incredibly deceitful and unreliable company for sure. Worst company I have ever dealt with.

Worst customer service ever. I got disconnect the service without any notice and non-authorized went through my property to do it. After got disconnected, I smell gas even 10 meters away. Report leaking gas on past Saturday with customer service had no patient to come to check and told me to wait till Tuesday when they reopen or call 911. Finally I had to deal with paying $180 cash for come to check for leaking which should be part of customer service anyway without charge. When the guy show up, he did admitted to smell the gas and did tighten up the lock, then still didn't admit that was leaking and still asks for the fee. After that didn't let him get into the house to do the test due to can not open the door after close it without the key that family member took it away and forgot to left extra key, and ask for come back on Tuesday to do the testing. Then he starts spook lots of unprofessional language also said that we wasted his time and don't want to give service anymore and told me to find another provider etc. Also took the gas line away with him too. I told him will report him, and he said he is the customer manager. His name is Wise. That was so ridicules. This guy need to be fired and apologize to me and my family.

I was having a scary issue wirh my tank and I could not get in contact with anyone at Ameri gas, so I called my local Kamps in Rocklin and I got a gal named Christie on the phone, I explained my fear and she immediately asked if anyone else was in the house and wanted to make sure if there was a faulty line everyone was safe. I heard her talk in the background to her colleauge and said there was something important he should go check out. WIthin 30 minutes a guy named Rick came to my house inspected my tanks and lines and tightened me up..I appreciate great ehlp, I am now a Kamps Propane customer.

I called in and could not figure out exactly what amount of gas i needed and size tanks as i am building a new back house, and I called Kamps and the lady that answered the phone (I think her name was Christine) was so patiient with me and explained to me what was available, she explained the prices and the values I would save by uses diffrent size tanks and fillings. I was very grateful and excited to be in a aprtnership with such great folks. Its rare anyone would take the time to be so supportive. I am part of the Kamps family forever, great job Kamps,

With the power out at my place in the Georgetown area and tired of dealing with my gas generator and always running out of gas or the gas going bad i called Kamps today and spoke with a Manager Named Wes in regards of putting in a propane generator he was very helpful and knowledgeable on what i need to do and what to get for them to be able to install a new tank and hook it up to my soon to be new generator i called several other local companies and no one seemed to want to explain my options or even talk with out a commitment thank you Kamps and wes
