“This place is really nice. The rooms are clean. My dog, Maxx, seems to like it as well. The employees are professional. I witnessed an angry family during breakfast this morning and I think the employees handled themselves wonderfully. Good job people. I think that couple was definitely in the wrong and they aren't teaching their children anything good! That's for sure. Those kids are going to wind up being disrespectful and rude just like their parents. I'm just saying. And what was funny was there was this older gentleman who started singing Christmas carols right in the middle of the loudness to try and get the couple to calm down. LMAO!! That was pretty hilarious!”

“Beautiful hotel, very comfortable stay. Staff is friendly, and breakfast was cooked fresh and better than most. The courtyard and pool were very nice. Rooms were clean, and the laundry room was a nice bonus. Centrally located next to everything you need, yet set back far enough for a nice and quiet atmosphere.”

“The room I stayed in was a good size and clean, the first night I stayed had a good night, the second night was not, at around 2:00 am I was woke up with a horrible humming sound, I waited to see if it would stop, it finally did for about a minute or two then started back up again this continued all night, I didn't sleep, so at check out I told customer service about my horrible night , as I started to tell him about my room he said oh was their a noise like a humming sound I said yes, lead me to believe he already new about it, I asked if I could get an adjustment on my bill he said "NO" because I didn't give them the (hotel) a chance to fix the problem, he stated that someone was available 24 hours to come take a look at the problem I was having in my room , he said they could of either fixed the problem or given me another room, I was telling him that it was 2:00 am in the morning, I said so you expect your guest to come to the lobby so maintenance can come in my room to see if maintenance can fix the problem, or try to get another room, so this means that at 2:00 am I'm to get my luggage pack everything up hoping I don't leave anything behind to go to another room, as I am traveling by myself..Honestly, I didn't feel that was a good option for myself. So I was told there was nothing they could do for me, so I paid full price for two nights, horrible customer service I will never stay at that hotel again as I travel a lot to that area, I will definitely back to the Hotel I was using prior to giving Holiday Inn a chance as it was a little closer. Disappointing service”

“Love how easy it was to find & plenty of parking. the venue was great- the staff were so polite & helpful and the food (a taco buffet) was surprisingly good ? ?It was pouring rain so we didn't see much of the grounds, what we did see was strong lines & bold timbers with stunning stone features +fountains & firepits making the events center had a lovely choice for the Sierras ?”

“I have found Days Inn Rocklin a pleasant departure from the 'corporate run" hotel / motel experience; more along the lines of a family run motel / hotel by offering the intangibles and taking pride in their work and the services they deliver. While this is an older property, I have found things to be very neat, clean, and in order, and very comfortable. Their room rates are a good value compared to what might be considered their competition. Add to that a nice selection of cable channels and free WiFi to enhance one's stay. My room is immaculate, and the attention-to-detail and pride the housekeeping staff displays is obvious.My stays have been extended ones, and their location is ideal. Fast food (Arby's, Taco Bell, Jack in the Box, Starbucks, Carl's Jr. and McDonald's) and very nice independent restaurants with take-out are within a half mile. That also goes for a Target, Ross, CVS, and Safeway. They have a washer and dryer, vending and ice machines all on the premises. There is ready access to I-80 and the surrounding areas. I have a service dog, and he enjoys walking in the neighborhood directly across the street. There is a nice park about a block or so away.As for the staff... friendly, courteous, and professional. I am treated like a welcomed friend by them and a number of the businesses we frequent. That is only fortified by being mindful of treating others with the courtesy and kindness you would like to receive.I really appreciate the overall experience the entire staff provides!”
