Updated 3/29/24:: Easter merchandise comes through and gets sold so quickly. Some cute things for the DIY in all of us. Cashier today was nice and chatty. Things were well organized on the shelves and pretty busy in there... Looks like everyone was trying to scoop up the Easter candy before it was all gone! LoL

Plenty of things to look at and purchase. Nice cashiers. Plenty of parking. Never know what you will find here. They have Christmas items in and it's not even October, so if you're in the mood to get started early, you may find some interesting things here. ?

This is are go to Dollar Tree as it is conveniently looking next to the highschool which we visit often due to our teenager. I've never seen it busy unless school is out. Unfortunately the high schoolers have stolen from there quite often that they limit the amount of people in the store when school gets out. The staff has always been pleasant and helpful during check out. I've never asked for help in the aisles as everything is in its place and well stocked. The selection is okay. Some items have more than others but that's not a problem for us. Price wise I really don't like that items are 1.25 in a dollar store but what can you do? For the items I get from here it beats grocery store pricing. It's a standard Dollar Tree where it's not a mess to look for stuff.

Worst experience ever at this store. I came here Friday night & there was an 80 year old man by the name of Mike that checked me out at the register. However when I got to the register the man immediately switched his light off. I stood there in disbelief thinking he was joking sort of. So I said “ uhm are you closing ? You turned the light off as soon as I walked up.” This man proceeded to tell me he turned his light off because he HATES ME. I am of mixed race (black & white) light complexion commonly mistaken for Hispanic. So I immediately took offense to this comment but I’m not a rude or irate person . I didn’t say another word checked my things out & called the manager by phone. Where she apologized for this behavior but advised he was having a bad day . I’m sorry this is not an excuse !! Terrible service terrible store. I would say they are racist if I had to call it. I will be calling corporate to report this as well. Mike should be fired if he can’t exist in 2024 maybe he’s too old to work

I was at this Dollartree yesterday and the manager Justin was so helpful! He helped me find the items I needed and even got them down for me, I'm short and would have had a hard time reaching them. If you want to see the best Dollartree around I suggest going to see this one!!!

Beware of aggressive/erratic employee! I went into the Rocklin location with my husband tonight and was completely taken back by the behavior of the employee named Maria. She was clearly bothered by the teens in the store tonight who were not acting inappropriately whatsoever. 4 girls walked down one aisle and she very rudely told them if they plan on buying paint tonight she's not selling it to them. The girls were super polite and obviously confused. She told them they've been having their building get paint on it each weekend so if they think they're buying it she's not selling it to them. The girls told her we're just doing face painting and the employee rudely cut them off and started talking down to them super slow and harsh as if they were her own children and not listening or something. The girls just went about their business and we clearly still confused and uncomfortable with the aggressive behavior of the employee. A few minutes later you could here her yelling to the girls who were still browsing "If you're not going to buy something then get out". This was completely bizarre to me considering these girls were minding their own business and not causing any issues. Not long after that the employee gets on the microphone across the whole store and announces that all high school students in the store need to finish their purchase and leave the store. This was probably one of the most bizarre things I've ever experienced in this store or any other store for that matter. The girls left at this point but there were a couple other teens in the store as well. They were not together it was just a busy night with lots of families and teens in at the time. Well just when I thought this employee was done acting like a crazy person she gets back on the microphone and says "security please sweep all aisles in the store." Like what?!?! What security? And why? It was her and the cashier working in the store for starters and I was so taken back that this employee was that bothered by the teens in the store. There were quite a few families in the store at the time and we definitely had some shared eye contact. It was clear I wasn't the only one wondering what's going on with this lady. I completely understand the risks stores face with younger shoppers but these teens were not being disruptive, loud, immature, or anything. I told my husband I hope she doesn't treat our kids like that when they come here. Thank goodness after talking to my kids when I got home they haven't experienced this treatment but they're definitely not allowed to go in there without me now in case that lady is working again. Nobody deserve to be treated the way that lady treated those teens tonight. She should be ashamed of herself for being that worked up and unprofessional. Rocklin is full of friendly and upbeat people and this lady really doesn't display the customer service or behavior I would expect in our community.

"Manager "Maria" at Dollar Tree on Stanford Ranch Road Needs Improvement. I recently visited the Dollar Tree on Stanford Ranch Road and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I walked in at 8:30 pm, did some shopping, and suddenly started feeling ill. In my moment of distress, I rushed to find the restroom, only to discover that it was locked. Seeking assistance, I approached the register and politely asked the lady for the restroom key. To my surprise, she responded with an attitude that I have never encountered before. She was incredibly rude and dismissive, which left me feeling hurt and confused. After checking my phone, I noticed it was only 8:41 pm, and I politely reminded her that the store closes at 9 pm. However, her response was far from understanding; she raised her voice and insisted that the store was closed, leaving me taken aback by her hostility. What shocked me even more was when I discovered she was the manager. It's disheartening to think that someone in a leadership position could treat customers so poorly. I noticed other negative comments about her behavior online, which only confirms that this is an ongoing issue. As a customer, I believe in providing honest feedback to help businesses improve their services. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. I hope the upper management takes the necessary steps to address this problem and ensure a more welcoming and respectful environment for all customers. While I appreciate the convenience of shopping at Dollar Tree, this experience has left me hesitant to return to this particular location. I encourage upper management to address this issue promptly and prioritize customer satisfaction to prevent similar incidents in the future. Please note that this review is meant to be constructive and help foster a positive change in customer service. I hope my feedback will contribute to a better shopping experience for everyone in the future.

Justin is the best! I work for a preschool and accidentally sent a teacher with my personal debit card instead of the company card to get A LOT of items . When I realized my mistake I called and asked if there was any way to fix it. Justin helped me through returning almost 200 items and repurchasing said items with the correct card. It would have been easy to be very annoyed with the situation. Justin who I am assuming is the manager was helpful and kind through the whole ordeal. I am extremely happy with the service i received. He made what could have been a disaster, easy peasy!

Cashier did an excellent job of bagging everything nicely do breakfast wouldn't break and squishables wouldn't squish. Clean. Nice variety. Will go back again! ??

I purchased balloons at the Lincoln location and they were out of helium and told me to come to another location, which I've done before with no issue. I came to this location and the manager was super rude about it. Her name was Becky or Becca. A heavier set caucasian woman. I explained to her they said to come there and she cut me off and said "of course they did" super rude then filled the balloons with a stank attitude the entire time. When I went to put them in my trunk I realized they weren't even filled all the way. I could smash them like they were going flat already. A waste of my time and balloons when they're not filled. I said thank you to her nicely as well even though she was being a c*** and she just says "ya" with an eye roll tone and walked away. Bummer because the store is super clean but I'd stay away for just shitty customer service reasons.
