Kathie at Central Rocklin Self Storage has been so wonderful to work with. Storage is clean, well lit, and easy to access from freeway. I have been a customer at this storage facility for personal and professional use for the past 4+ years.

My family has had the unfortunate experience of having a storage unit here for the past 8 years. We acquired the unit after my parents health required them to move into a nearby assisted living facility. This location was chosen purely for the sake of proximity. The units themselves are just like any other. However, the debilitating characteristic is the inconsiderate attitude and rudeness of the manager, Bob. Over the years he has shown the uncanny ability to make every interaction a contentious one. He appears to be one of those individuals that enjoys making situations worse at every opportunity. I have begrudgingly put up with this as the thought of moving storage units was even more miserable than him. This past weekend finally put me over the edge. Sadly, both my parents passed away within the last 10 months, leaving their bank account with no surviving trustees. Thus, all electronic Bill Payments were frozen. As I became aware of this, I worked as quickly as possible to move payments to my personal bank account. However, payments on several of their accounts were late due to the circumstances. EVERY OTHER COMPANY (big and small), understood the situation and waived any late fees as I reestablished the payments through my bank. I contacted Bob about this issue and even went to meet with him in person. I explained the situation and showed him bank records that I had processed the payment on 6/28 for the bill due by 7/8. The check had just not arrived yet due to bank processing and mail delivery. Mind you, we have NEVER missed a payment in 8 YEARS. Bob's response was a blunt, "Sounds like an issue with your bank. If it's late, it's late, and there is a late fee." No amount of reasoning garnered more than a dismissive grunt and shrug. I have never been more shocked and dismayed at someone's shameless disregard and lack of human decency. Thankfully, we have now almost cleared out the unit so we can be done with him. I implore anyone looking for storage to find a different location and save yourself from such callousness.

I started renting a unit at Central Rocklin Self Storage in 2015 when I was leaving a bad situation. The management has been nothing but kind and professional with me over the past 7 years I've been with them- they even replaced my bad lock for free one year when they noticed the one I was using was faulty. The storage area also has always been clean and well kept. I finally cleared out my unit yesterday, and I'm very thankful for my experience here!

Great facility but unfortunately they have recently made a change to management that was not for the best. The lack of professionalism from the staff was shocking, I was told to stick a fork in it and then he accused me of calling him name. I hope the owners get this guy out of there. If you don't need to speak with anyone, then the place is great!

I had my items in the storage for over a year. I asked if I could have a POD delivered to the facility for two days and I would pay extra for this service. I was told that was not possible. I had to rent a Uhaul and transfer everything in my storage to the POD. When I arrived at the storage there was a container right where I asked to have the POD delivered. The customer service at Central Rocklin Self Storage is poor.
