One of the worst business operations within Rocklin and for Budget. Staff is belligerent and rude. I plan to avoid this place like a plague.

The same owner owns this location and Harding. Do NOT go to Rocklin. I visited both today because the car I originally received was dirty and smelt of smoke. I went to Rocklin to exchange and the lady working there was horrific, Saanam (I probably spelt that wrong)! To say her customer service was horrible, is putting it lightly. Luckily, I had to go back to the Harding location and both men there were very nice, apologetic (they did nothing wrong, had GREAT customer service), and took care of me with nothing short of great customer service. If you have to rent a car, stay away from the Rocklin location! If I could give zero stars, I would. It's no wonder their yelp rating is in the garbage. Mr. Chini, you need to reevaluate if this is who you want representing your company. I will never go back and I will share with anyone not to!

I have rented from avis/budget at this location twice so far both we good experiences. They were quick easy with no mess let you chose what car you like out of the ones in the reserved class that were available. I never had any problems with drop off and they are open till noon on weekends, which was good for me as a drop off time.

Don't deal with this company. Hours on the phone trying to rent a car hours. My car broke down so it was a bit of a pinch, so I called budget and they said yes we can get an SUV out to you right away, but you can't pay with a credit card you have to pay with a gift card. So I had a neighbor pick me up and take me to Target to get a gift card they said to get a Target gift card. I got a Target gift card for $350 and the transaction timed out. So then I had to go back in Target and get another gift card for $350, and this one didn't work as well. He told me to go back in again and get an eBay gift card, and I said no. Why can't I just pay with my credit card? I was speaking with Adam, and he told me not to tell the cashier that it was for a rental car, he said say it is a gift and then you won't be charged anymore. So I go back in he tells me to go to CVS to get a eBay gift card. CVS does not carry eBay gift cards. Then he told me to walk down to Home Depot and get some other kind of gift card can't even remember now what it was. I told him I can't walk down there, because I'm a disabled senior with polio. I can't even begin to tell you how bizarre that whole transaction was. Then he calls me back and say oh get a gift card from blah blah blah and I told him to go shove it. So after hours waiting in the heat in front of Target for a car to show up, I ended up not getting a car and had to hire someone to pick me up. Something's fishy here

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I 100% agree with Steve Garcia's review regarding the little girl named Sanam, who calls herself the manager. This little brat is unprofessional, d*** as a stump and a total scammer. I prepaid for my car, and when I arrived to pick up my car, I was told by Sanam that there is no car for me. What???? I told her I prepaid, and her response was, "Too bad for you. You're not getting your money back. Don't prepay next time." Sanam has a major attitude problem. If you don't like your job, do something else. Customer service is not for her. She treated me so terribly, it's actually embarrassing. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!!

I would like to leave 0 stars, but it's not allowed. Beware when you patronize this Rocklin, CA Budget Rent A Car. There is a young women named, Sanam, who tells me she is the manager. Let's just start with the fact that I reserved and PAID for a car at this location. When I arrived, Sanam told me she doesn't have a car for me........and she's rude. I said, "But, I paid for the car and now there is no car. I want my money back." Obviously, right!! Sanam, the extremely rude, unfriendly, bratty, incompetent, no customer service, let's just say brat.....proceeded to tel me that since I pre-paid for my car and there is NO car, "too bad" for me. No money back........She also told me she was about to call me to tell me there is NO car for me......still no money back, even though she knew there was No car for me!! Manager Sanam, still didn't care that there was NO car for me, or that I had paid in full. In fact, she told me, "when you pay in full, that's your problem." HMMMMMMM. If Sanam is the manager, and there is 0 recourse.....doubt she knows what that word means.....then I would advise you choose another location.......So, I did call the 800 customer service number, and they tell me that little Miss Sanam is WRONG.....I am still awaiting the $$ back in my account. Take my advice, just go elsewhere. It's not worth the hassle with this place.

DONT RENT HERE IF YOU CANT AFFORD TO LOSE MONEY!!!! This upsets me to write this because I never had an issue with this company before but I usually rented from the S Harding office. It's taken me some time to write this because I've fought this issue since last summer but I can see they will happily screw you over if they can get away with it. So during this period of life my family had been homeless a short time and our car was totaled not long into this time so we periodically rented a car when we needed to get more done then use Uber. Now I'm legally blind I don't drive my wife does she's my caregiver so you understand we're on an extremely limited an budgeted income so I use the cards to pay and she drives for me. I rented a car through Sams club (better deal this way), when I arrived I figured do the paperwork and we will be on our way but the young lady working the counter insisted she could not rent me the car because of my issue and I wasn't the driver so I figured she didn't know about laws regarding disabilities so I explained to her this is how we always do it but it wasn't flying now I became upset and I got a little testy won't lie but it just happened the owner from the S Harding office was on his way there so when he arrived he set things up and got the process going because he knew we rented from Roseville. I did apologize for my behavior to the young lady because you shouldn't treat people poorly no matter what side of the counter your on and I explained our situation and why I wa stressed out. Now I made a math miscalculation my card was $20 short of the total and paying another way would've messed things up so the owner fixed it to cover my mistake which I was super happy at the time and as usual I was told about the $300 deposit and all that, we got the car and left. So after our few days we're up I realized we needed the car a few more days now I should've rebooked through Sams but I didn't when we went into the office they gave me a new total which was higher then before since I booked through them so I moved the exact amount to the card I was using to pay the young lady was in the office when I did this but I was being helped by a man so I asked her though I'm not going to have to pay the deposit again am I and I was told no it will roll over and go back on the card after I return the car for the finale time. So again our time came to an end and we returned the car no problem now usually when I rent a car the deposit is back in 1-2 days but this time a week had gone by and nothing I called the rental company and my credit card both said give it a few days the money is processing so ok I did but the money never showed. So started the nightmare of stupidity so I call the store again they tell me since my ticket had been closed there was nothing they could do to help me I needed to call the 800 number which I did. I explained to the guy the situation and told him I prepaid each amount I was charged wheh I picked the car up and he keep changing the math on me I said look dude no matter how you push the math on me we're still missing $300. I will tell you at this point I was heated him and I went back and forth he kept putting me on hold because I wanted a supervisor on the phone I paid almost $700-800 upfront plus my $300 deposit yet I never got a manager I went through this two or three times with this company they said ok well I can refund you $120 or something like that I said that's a start so yes refund me that but I'm still going to keep calling for my $180. Days went by and guess what even that lil refund they were going to give me never came either and because we were homeless I had papers scattered and I just found both receipts and was told by the BBB when I find them to turn them in and now that's what I'm going to do because that's the only recourse I have and this company knows it because let's face it although my attorney doesn't cost me to use because I'm disabled

I had rented a car for one day from this place, upon returning the car the little girl running the place told me that they were going to charge me an extra $200 dollars because the car smelled like smoke. I told her that is how the car smelled when I took it.I had also told her that I did not smoke in the car. She immediately copped an attitude started to argue with my wife and myself. She also stated to make up lies to justify her scamming me out of my money. She had said that one of her employees had pulled the car up for me which was not true. There was only her and another guy behind the counter,and never did they walk around the car with me to inspect for damage and what the car smelled like before I took it. Then she started to put words in my mouth telling me about a discussion we supposedly had when I was renting the car which I really did not appreciate. If you are looking to rent a car from these people beware the girl who calls herself the manager is a scam artist and is very rude and disrespectful.

This was the worst experience I have ever had renting a car! The first car wouldn’t start the next day. They wanted to send someone over to start the battery. I said I would take care of that but I want to trade this car in. I called my nephew. We went and bought some jumper cables and started the car. I called the agent back and finally talked her into trading my car. I drove to the closest budget car rental to be met by the rudest agent. He blamed me for the car not working. But he did exchange the car. When I went to return the car I asked for a discount because I lost 1/2 a day vacation messing with the cars. Instead of subtracting $50 he added $50 which changed other amounts. The bill ended up being $134.24 higher than the original. All I want is my money back. No one will talk to me!! I call customer service and they put you on a list. It’s been a week- no return call. I’ve tried sending emails but I get kicked out every time. I will NEVER rent from them again!
