I've already reviewed this business negatively due to a staff member providing blatantly false information and overcharging, which I demonstrated via screenshot in a Yelp review.
I'm posting another one-star review based on my experience attempting to return items via a QR code from Narvar. This type of return is "boxless," and here is the exact language from Narvar: "No box? No problem! No packaging or printers needed! Customers simply show a QR code at their selected The UPS Store location. UPS takes care of packaging and shipping back to your warehouse."
Yet, when I presented the QR code and items to a staff member, they insisted I purchase a "bag" from The UPS Store. I explained that the instructions state no packaging is required, and the staff member simply repeated that they couldn't take the items unless I bought packaging from them.
Not only is this a violation of the terms of accepting these returns, but it's also unethical behavior, demanding people pay for a 100% free service. I especially worry about older folks who may be confused by this and think they have to pay.
If you don't want to accept boxless returns, cool. But, in that case, please ensure you don't populate in the list of locations where they can be brought.
TLDR: Though I'm sure the store's staff won't care, I will never set foot in here again, as they've now lied to me twice in order to force me to pay additional costs.

I went to the store to mail out some things. Certified mail and three out of the four packages were delivered without incident but the 4th never made it and when I returned to the store to ask them what happened to the package they have no way to be sure in their system if they created the label to begin with or register the tracking number and they have no way of looking up to see if a package has left their store or not. So my solution was that I send the package again but they pay for it this time and they refused saying that it is not their problem that my package was lost when I paid them for a service handed them my package and they lost it somehow. It's my fault.

Very rude and poor customer service. Online it states that the store closes at 7pm, I walk in at 6:02 and there are several customers in the store, one of the workers tells me that they are already closed. When I asked what he said he again rudely says “we’re closed” and they will not serve me. Fix your process, don’t let me in the door if you are closed and update your online profile if you close at a different time than advertised.

The team at this ups store has been extremely helpful. In the past year there has been changes in staffing. I cant believe they are now charging $4.50 fee + printing to print something out by sending an email to them. Fedex in same parking lot doesn’t charge for it. 4 year customer with a mailbox there. I wish I got paid $4.50 an email to check it

Waited for a package to be delivered from Santa Inez winery. It was received at this location but I was never contacted and when I went to location to inquire they had no record. Upon supplying them with delivery date and name of person who signed for it, they located it. BUT now they want to charge me $10 to pick it up. They claim it was not UPS delivery, just a drop off location. Sender has verified it was a UPS delivery. Staff was rude, not aware of what was protocol , and one employee hung up on me! Do better, UPS!!!

I've used this location many times but will now take my business elsewhere. Staff was unknowledgeable, rude and dismissive of my concerns. They were unable to locate a package I was receiving and until I provided them with name of signer and date they received it, they had no record. When I asked how is it they could not locate it, even when I went in to the store, they had no idea. An explanation would have worked even if to say "we made a mistake". Instead they pretty much blew me off and then hung upon me when I followed up today with a phone call! Not a good way to run a business.

My go to for Amazon returns. Get my QR code ready, scan, receipt, done. Always receive great service, it has great ac during the summer months, very clean and convenient. Be careful the parking situation is a little tight the flow of traffic gets congested. So far I haven't had any problems personally but I've seen others who haven't been so lucky. Friendly helpful service!

A million stars to this location and a huge gigantic shout out to Joseph, Lynn, and Matthew for being the most magical super stars they are. I know firsthand t's not easy dealing with customers face to face all day and the challenges that come with it, but they do it happily and with genuine care and compassion. Customer service here is top notch. They are super reliable, super friendly, and ensure peace of mind that my packages get where they need to be. Thank you guys for all you do and helping me with my bulk returns lol and thank you guys for being the example of how quality efficient service should be. I appreciate all your help that's always provided with laughs and a smile. You guys deserve all the recognition, awards, and accolades! I hope you all get a raise and know how appreciated you all are! 10/10 the best store!!!
