If -1 stars exist, then sign me up! I recently went with my sister to Sam’s club (auto motive center) and it was pretty awful experience, Long story short, they could not except a refund on the battery we bought, the battery wasn’t working and it was the 3RD time we went to get a new battery and they charge hidden fees when you have warranty on a item. So we wanted to see if we can get a refund, but no, they said they couldn’t because they can only, and I quote “honor the warranty ONLY” but their is no mention on their policy on the front desk saying “no refunds” so I was wondering why do they just mention this now, and it wasn’t on their policy located at the front desk? Anyway. We were left with 2 options, drop the battery and go somewhere else to get a battery and lose our money because no refunds, or pay another fee to get another battery that doesn’t last long at all, so we paid the fee because at least not lose all the money we spent, and when we were about to leave I read their “policy” on the front registration, and it said “we do not except checks” then listed all the types of checks they do not except, then a guy comes ups and gives the worker his “check” to pay for his part, and the worker asked his co-worker “Do we except checks” and the one worker that “helped us”(the one who said we don’t do refunds named (Casey) said “yes, we do accept checks” after seeing their policy on the front desk explicitly saying “we don’t accept checks,” is seriously unbelievable. Saying we don’t do refunds, and they have no mention on their “policy” but accepts a check after their policy says “no checks,” He also told us “why would you go somewhere else to pay more then getting another battery here” he said it with a little bit of a opinionated attitude, and it was quite obvious that I would rather buy a car part full price and getting my moneys worth, then buying a part that has a %75 chance of being defective (battery) Recommend buying automotive parts elsewhere then here, if you do not want a defective automotive part with hidden fees they don’t mention to you until after your checking out. Please do not go here! The moment you buy a part, I GUARANTEE! you will NOT get your money back, and WILL keep paying hidden fees they don’t tell you about UNTIL you checkout, I understand about the fees, BUT they don’t tell you about them. So going here to get a “new”part that doesn’t last long, is pretty much a scam. We are highly considering, canceling this membership and switching to Cosco, the terrible service, helped us to make better decisions, So thank you!

There batteries are the worst, every time you come you have to pay $2 to get an exchange on a defective battery even with warranty. Then what’s the warranty for?! To not get your money back?!! Literally. I came back many times because every battery I get is defective. They won’t even give you a refund for something that doesn’t work. So I recommend you not come here at all?? I won’t be coming back..

VERY concerned Sam's Clubs policies will result in someone being Killed. If they have NOT already... I had 1 tire completely destroyed. I asked if there were appointments for the warranty work and was advised they were booking 2 weeks out, opted for a walk-in when the replacement tire arrived. The warranty only allows 4 pro ration of the tire. U must pay again 4 mounting balancing etc. Roughly $56 later 4 a tire, with less than 15,000 miles on a warrantied 65,000 mile tire. (I paid roughly $100 for the tire mounted with warranty 13 months ago was not pleased but paid!) They asked if I was leaving the tire for the repair. Nope, not safe driving without a spare. Another employee tried to convince me to take the new tire and not wait for the remount. I advised both men I would wait for them to remount the tire. I had lunch and waited approximately 2 hours. I checked back was told they were NOT likely going to get to it that day. Was told I should make an appointment and/or leave the destroyed tire with them, they may get to it Friday or over the weekend. Sorry, men not safe for anyone much less a 60 year old woman, to drive a vehicle without a spare tire. I would wait the rest of the day if necessary. 4 hours of waiting latter, was advised my car was ready and I could leave. I asked if they had put the spare tire back in he trunk and was advised that is the practice. NOT ONLY had they not put my spare back, they had taken my spare tire off the car and put it in the trash. Put the new tire I just bought on the spare tire rim. They left my shredded tire in my trunk! Had I not checked to insure the spare was properly stored who knows what these guys are doing to people. I could have been placed in grave danger by Sam's employee's complete negligence and disregard for any type of safety. These careless inconsiderate associates are either not properly trained or they simply follow Sam's procedures without thought of the ramifications. Either way it boils down to walk-ins NOT WELCOME! All customers must scheduled their flat tires and warranty work two weeks in advance. This is insane!! Go elsewhere the tires are garbage and their warranty is worthless!!

We shop at both Costco and Sam's club. Sam's has some things that don't come in such large quantities like ready made salads. Since it's just the two of us, we don't waste food. When we entertain we will get the larger quantity salad from Costco. We really like having the options of the two different quantities. That's just one example, but I'm sure you get the idea. One thing that Sam's has that Costco doesn't is the Scan N Go app. If you've never used it, you definitely have to check it out. You scan the item when you add it to your shopping cart and get to bypass the checkout line. It always makes me laugh when I see people standing in line when they could just use the app. When you get to the exit, the employee who checks your receipt scans your phone and you are out and on your way. I really wish Costco would do this too.

So I had a delivery from Sam's Club the other day and a girl named Amanda was supposed to drop my order off. When the delivery driver arrived it was a male and I asked what his name was and his name was Jose. This is not safe Sam's Club. I know at Walmart Spark delivery drivers have to show their I.D to receive their order. Please in force checking ID's on delivery drivers! I will be contacting corporate about this!

I am in California and I have a car in Georgia that needs tires. I'm using my Sam's Club card. I ordered the tires while here in California to be put on the car in Georgia. The tires came in they put the order on my credit card but because I'm not there they won't put the tires on the car I think that's ridiculous. I am not there yet but the car needs tires. They have my credit card. What's the problem. when trying to call to resolve the issue the main office could not get anyone to answer the phone at the McDonough Sam's club ! Therefore, they could not resolve the issue and apologized. I'm done with Sam's Club for tires.

I have placed five orders now in the last month for pick up at the store. They make me select a time to come and pick it up, and not one out of the five orders has even been ready on the day that I requested it I get notification the following day that my order is finally ready. I came to the store went and talked to them. They told me they'd be right out in five minutes, three hours later I got a notification that my order was ready. I saw it in the parking lot for over an hour waiting before I walked in the store picked up everything I needed and left. Tonight my order was supposed to be ready at 5 o'clock, it is now 8 o'clock. I've heard nothing from them. I have called the store six times and let the phone ring for over four minutes. Not once did anyone answer the phone. Their customer service is horrible. I will never go back.

The young man was nice enough to tell me I had a flat tire so I purchase two tires instead of one and they were done in less than an hour

Why have me wait for a hour to tell me that you can't take the nail out of the tire and you don't have a replacement tire? You knew when I walked in you didn't have a replacement tire.

Purchased tires from sams club March 2021. The worst tires I have ever purchased. The amount of problems I had with them led me to change my tires july 2023 about 2 and a half years with the tires. The tire thread was gone so fast and any problem with the tire it needed to be completely replaced. After replacing two tires at the end all of the tires looked the same. No amount of life left in them. Saving a couple extra bucks is not worth purchasing from them.

I'm a long time Costco girl and I occasionally see something at Sam's Club and wish I had a card to get it. I recently say a deal for a membership for $25. So I got one for me and my sister. This was my first visit and the first thing I noticed was all of the options for many items. Costco will offer you a few variations. But Sam's certainly had more. Plus there were some items that could be purchased in smaller quanties which is always nice when you have a smaller family or gathering. Their prepared foods (deli and bakery) also offer more variety. There's more than one kind of salad, mixed desserts with options within the same package. I definitely felt like I had choices. I haven't had a chance to use conveniences like checking out through the app. I had one woman even tell me I could order items from the restaurant through the app nice! The quality of the items did seem a little less than Costco. So I'll have to check into that more. Overall this store was nice, clean, well stocked, and the staff was nice as well.

Today I had an order pick up from this Sam's Club with a pick up window of 12-1pm. I arrived at 12:45 with my app still saying my order is not ready. By 12:56pm my order was still in the processing stage which really was bothersome because I was on my lunch break. I stopped a worker I saw near the order pick up parking and a petite woman with blonde hair informed me that my order was being picked at that moment and should be ready soon. At 12:58pm my order was ready. A few minutes later the same woman came back to bring me my order she was kind and helpful and had me on my way back to work within minutes. While I know Sams club is a very busy store it would really be beneficial if they would have their orders ready on time and not 2 minutes before the end of a pick up window.

The worst store always so slow at the checkout the manager for the checkout she always come to help the workers but unfortunately when she come she didn't do anything she just scanned the cart for the customer to help but that make it harder for the workers because it end up that they trying to scan the carts again not organized at all

SSam's Clubplease clarify for me the reason why, we have to pay double the price for this item in which represents our culture, yet the same item in Caucasian form is half the price... we purchased this item last night on the app and picked up from the store. We wanted to purchase a 2nd one only to come across this huge price difference, just to have something that represents our culture... this is racial discrimination, jacking the prices up more than half of what it cost for the same item in a different ethic background. This is what we are still dealing with in 2022?? Sams club this is unacceptable and ridiculous... this needs to be fixed nation and world wide ASAP
