My experience with The Salvation Army took place almost 55 years ago. Stranded, Trafficked and alone, a woman from the salvation army saved my life with gifts of food, a place to stay and a job. I don't know what their organization is like in 2024....but in 1969 they did what they were Meant To Do and I will be Forever Grateful.

Hello,I'm at shelter on army property and it's very hard.Never been in shelter.Besides the point.These people help others that most of society rejects.I know they do it in name of Jesus still the services they provide are invaluable too too most people that come here.thnk you salvation army

Pantry same people are here every wen and Friday at the front of the line . They enter from other side where employees enter always at front and always taking large quantities ?and het in line and save space for other family members ??

I'm kind of a screw up.worked majority of my life and due too really bad circumstances I became homeless bout 4 months ago.Living at cold weather shelter here in riverside and I'm trying too be grateful whatever.Salvation army really helps people that reach rock bottom all I know.If it wasn't for them lot of people would starve ect..

Damn as a combat veteran I can't get help from anyone because I'm a white male, but if I tell the Salvation Army I'm illegal, I get a paid for flight to New York! Keep up the good work guys...

Went to this location for gas bill assistance. The person working here is very rude and disrespectful to guests. His name is David Alvalez. I went to another Salvation Army location in Moreno Valley, this person was working at this location as well. I strongly feel when there's a community in need, and a company puts an individual like this as the first person of contact, the Salvation Army has done their company a great disservice. The company is here to assist, not be confrontational, rude and disrespectful to guests. Then to place the person at other facilities is a disgrace. There are so many people that want a job, so many people willing to be respectful to guests. David Alvalez is not that person. This individual will run off more people that need help than he would assisting others. I won't be coming back to this location, I can't in good faith recommend it to anyone. He became so disrespectful he at one point shouted at me "do you want help or not" then proceeded to offer no help at all. This person also took a fighting position, meaning he stepped outside the door, and became extremely aggressive. If this facility has a violent situation with this employee, I did try to warm Salvation Army of David's aggressive demeanor.

This agency claims to have emergency resources ,yet everyone is turned away by directors lead into believing thier assistance but why are they bogarting the monies, who turns this place, It needs to be investigated for suspicious inside fraud.
