I have adopted 2 cats from Room 8 at Petco. Myers 7 yrs ago & Gigi 4 yrs ago. That's where I met Gail. She 'IS' passionate about where all the cats go. She vetts every one thoroughly so none of the cats are kept outdoors & are well taken care of. I think she does a great job of it.Thank you Gail for your hard work. ?????.....

So freaking rude, just called to see if they could take in a cat, tried to explain the situation with the cat I found and didn’t even let me finish my sentence before cutting me off and telling me that aren’t taking cats right now, at least give me resources or other rescues to see if they can help

So unprofessional!!!>:| I went into Petco to adopt a kitten and I met one of the ladies running the cat foundation. I explained to her how I have cats of my own and how I was looking to adopt another and she lied and said the adoption age was 21 when it is clearly 18 in the state of California. Not only that, but she was incredibly rude and talked down on me when I inquired about the kittens shots and deworming process. She switched up on me so fast when I told her I was almost 21 and demanded to speak to my mother if I wanted to adopt, which I think is ridiculously outrageous. I would have respected her decision to deny me adoption if she wasn’t so incredibly rude and condescending. She even went out of her own way to scold me about my own cats at home seeing as they are outside cats even after I told her I was looking for a cat to keep inside only. Absolutely do not recommend this place because of their service BUT the kitties were so cute.

This is a wonderful nonprofit cat shelter. The kind people who work here are very dedicated to caring for their cats, making sure that their cats are healthy, happy, and ready for adoption.

Gail was very polite & helpful in answering any questions we had. She stayed pass closing time to help us. Cats are well taken care of there.

We adopted our boy Lucas from Room 8 in late 2019! We still update the rescue with pictures of him too. They make the process easy while still considering the welfare of the cats as most important.

I called earlier today the guy who answered the phone was extremely rude, I was trying to asked for a pregnant stray cat & he said "we're not taking cats so figure that one on your own", for a place that claims to help homeless cats & kindness to animals you guys are doing a terrible job or maybe that guy shouldn't be working there he brings a bad impression on your company
