I have visited around 10 anytime fitnesses in souther California and this is definitely the worst. Most of there equipment doesn't work and everything was so dusty and dirty or rusted. They definitely need to get new equipment of at least get a better maintenance person. Definitely feel bad for whoever has this gym as there primary.

They will ruin your credit!!!!!!! Do not sign up with them!!!!! Such an unprofessional gym and doesn't even reach out to customers for any warning. They closed during the pandemic and never called to state that the gym was reopening. The front desk lady stated they closed in march 2020 and reopened in march 2021 but I have a collection on my credit report for $300 as of October 2020. That makes no sense.

Easy the worst ( not sure if I can even call it a GYM ) , I was in the area and wanted to workout so found that this "gym" has a free trial for 7 days . Decided to take a look . - I was so confused from the first moment as the entrance has a two signs , The first one says : Anytime Gym while the other one says ( Physical Center ) . Even the building it self is way small to be a gym ! I entered and met by the receptionist, The entrance is made to be a clinic NOT a gym! Immediately the receptionist asked me to put mask on and provided me with one , She said we are basically at a clinic so you need to put the mask on until 06:00 pm then you can remove it, I asked her : why ? Would the virus go home after 6 pm? Lol . After I got one of the weirdest views ever ! A very small gym ( almost my living room size ) surrounded with physical therapist beds ( about 15 of them) so you workout while looking at the patients getting treated and they are looking at you with no single partitions Or dividers !!!! Some of them would join you using the equipments ( very limited ) accompanied by their therapists !! So it just NOT the right vibe to workout ! The facility used to be the old train stations,The train still pass so close to them and the noise is something to remember ! Restroom is small and narrow .certainly no changing rooms . Naaah not for me at all ! Suggesting them to change the name to ( Anything but not a gym ) . Ok , I made a selfie there lol

DO NOT SIGN UP THEY WILL MESS UP YOUR CREDIT AND NEVER RETURN YOUR CALLS. I had used them years ago. 5 YEARS AGO. I got injured and called to cancel my membership which they informed me I would have to in person. That's fine, no big deal, pretty usual for gyms. So I came in person, with my boyfriend, who had to drive me because my ankle was how I was injured while rock climbing. Cancelled in person, everything was good. A couple years ago I get a credit report alert saying I owe them over 300 bucks. I disputed it with experian and now tell me why I have to dispute it with Transunion just recently. I called them when it first showed up on my experian credit report a couple years back and showed the paperwork, had the witness statement and it was removed from my credit report. Didn't think I would need to hang onto it because they would keep screwing me. They never returned any of my calls ever. IF YOU CANCEL MAKE SURE YOU GET ALL YOUR PAPERWORK, AND KEEP IT FOR A GAZILLION YEARS.

Do NOT trust this gym. I signed up with the owner during covid time. She assured me it'll be open. I signed up for two memberships one for me and one for a family member. A week into me signing up she said it's going to be open for physical therapy customers only. She told me I can go to the Redlands location AFTER 30 days of being a member. I expressed to her how I would not be able to do that and it's out of my way. I told her I wanted to cancel and she would not let me, she said I couldn't after signing up. After a while of going back and forth she said she needs an in person, written notice so that she can cancel my membership. I went in, like she asked during business hours but of course, she "wasn't there". Nevertheless, I left a written notice with my signature and a copy of my ID. Come to find out she has been charging for both memberships all this time. I tried texting her to resolve this issue because her gym "does not take incoming calls" and you can only text to get through. Again, she will not cancel the membership or refund my money. She keeps trying to intimidate me as she did in the first place by telling me to come down during business hours to cancel. She tries to bully by intimidation so that people don't feel comfortable coming to cancel. I have asked her repeatedly not to charge my card. She will not give me her name, she has been bullying me like crazy. I told her I have a close relative dying of cancer, and I work during the hours she's requesting me to come, so I just can't make it, she still sends the same message over and over "come in during business hours". I asked her nicely but she will not cancel. She is unreasonable, a bully, a liar, a manipulator and a thief. When she doesn't want to respond, she won't. Do not waste your time coming to such a terrible place. I now have to go to my bank, file a report and go through so many steps just to get what's rightfully mine .

Don't come here if you want to seriously work out. Go the extra five minutes to the Redlands location where fitness is a positive thing. The riverside location seems to only want Physical therapy patients not those who are trying to increase strength. I was approached several times after heavy sets and tried to catch my breath with my nose out of my mask so I didn't pass out(vision was getting spotty) and was approached immediately. I guess passing out and hitting your head on dumbbells isn't an issue for them...I LOVE the Redlands location though. Night and day difference of atmosphere also a ton more equipment.

The front desk office staff are always super friendly, and it's the same when I call. The therapist are also super friendly and it looks like they enjoy what they do. I feel like my mom gets well taken care of here! Shout out to Megan and (Matt I think his name is) yall are great!

Perfect gym for my busy schedule. It being 24 hours let's me get in workouts that I wasn't able to at LA fitness, where I would also have to wait in line for machines. While here it almost feels like a personal gym! Haven't waited for a machine yet! Staff is always very friendly, they are partnered with a physical therapy company so there are PT's there helping patients during the day. Unlike other reviews I don't mind it especially since I usually work out in the mornings. I also love that with a membership you can use all of their other locations as well. Definitely recommend

So the previous owner Jared and his wife opened fraudulent accounts then sold the gym to this n*** Joshua who is trying to collect on these fraud accounts. Not realizing it was reported to the banks and police already months ago and Jared is wanted for fraud. DO NOT SIGN UP HERE. I repeat these people sell this gym like meals at McDonald's. Poor Joshua does not know what he got himself into. Jared ran away clean and now this kid is stuck with a gym the size of my bedroom and fraud accounts left and right!! Go to CRUNCH people. Real gyms don't need to lie or steal.

I'm bummed out. I live pretty close to this place and I wanted to like it because I could run or bike here instead of driving to 24 fitness, where I'm currently a member. But this place is lackluster to put it nicely. 1) Art (manager) calls me about my 7 day pass. I tell him I can show up at 6. He says he's off at 5, but he can make 6. I compromise and tell him I'll see him at 5:45. He says ok. I get there a little bit after 5:30. Art is not there. Thankfully, one of the receptionist for the physical therapy place (who doesn't even work at the gym) lets me in but I'm already unimpressed at the service when the manager can't keep his word or even call to re-schedule. 2) this gym shares the floor with a physical therapy practice. No separate rooms, no dividers, nothing. It's a strange use of space and I can't think of any other reason for this other than the owner is cheap and wants to make more money. 3) the equipment is severely lacking to say the least. The space is small. There were little kids running around the gym who had trickled over from the physical therapy waiting room and moms chasing after them. To be fair, maybe it's not as bad off hours when the physical therapy practice is closed. 4) just overall not a great gym. I don't need the fancy bells and whistles that other gyms have (like saunas and a ton of fancy equipment) but at the bare minimum, decent customer service and a good amount of working machines. This place is not it. I'd rather keep spending an extra 8 dollars a month and driving to 24 fitness. I also find it fishy that two of their recent positive 5 star reviews are posted one day apart and say basically the same thing, mentioning the remodel. Smells like gym marketing or foul play to me. corporate really should come in & re-evaluate if this location is a proper representation of the gym they portray themselves to be.

A wonderful place for wonderful therapy & therapists & doctors, they are awesome! I came in not too long (11/20/2017) after my husband passed away 08/15/2017, I was a mess! I had to stay by his side day and night as that was the only way he felt comfortable. anyway, this is not about him but about me. I don't want to make this long and drawn out, but I must say some awesome things about some awesome people, the office staff and the doctors were all very compassionate and tried (as best as they could {they are all quite a bit, quite a bit, younger than I} to understand what I was going through. Not only Physically, but mentally and emotionally also. It took me a long time to get my motivation back, even with them (the therapists) helping me. By the time a 7 months had gone by my motivation had increased to almost 50% with the help of my long term therapist, Dr Kerri. By this time I felt ready for a visit to my daughters and her family (11/15/2018-1/13/2019). So I went to her place in Casper, WY for 2 months, which set me back a little as there were no good therapists there. I tried a gym, with no luck (still nothing like at Marketplace). When I came back home Kerri and I had to catch up so I worked hard. Three more months I left again, this time for only 2 weeks. Now, I had a bit more catch up to do. no one's fault but my own. Again I worked hard... no pain no gain! 7/12/2019 Marketplace is the place to go if, you want some dedicated people to work with you, and never fear, they are good! Even the assistants are good and want you to do well because then they shine with their talents and knowledge of how the body works, and that is what you want. God Bless them all! Reberta
