Protrans is great! It's already a nightmare having to get a new transmission but they made the process very easy and had my vehicle up in running the same week i took it in. My car ran even better than before! had someone not recently totaled it, I'm sure i would have gotten a lot more life out of it. Definitely recommend ?

Took an old truck here multiple times having issues with the transmission. They could have been honest and said the truck needs a new transmission, but instead bled me out thousands of dollars on “repairs” they thought were necessary that in the end did nothing. Transmission ended up blowing up on the freeway. There are better places to go to.

Our brakes failed on us two months after taking it to Ford for a brake repair and we refused to take it back there after. Protrans Automotive took our car with no appointment and called us regularly for updates. The mechanics fixed up our brakes in a very efficient manner with very reasonable prices for the work done. Will definitely be coming back here again for future repairs! Bravo

I paid $ for diagnostics and they told me the timing was bad I asked how much is the timing would not give me an answer but told me it would cost 800 and some dollars to find out I feel I was ripped off because that should’ve been included with the Diagnostic cost anyway they wanted to charge me $13,000 for an engine rebuilt. I told them no thank you and they still charge me the 800 and some dollars for the diagnostic chargeI feel it was a total switch in bait will never go there again

Protrans much cheaper than initial quote. Brought in my ford focus to replace Radiator. And a free ride home. Micheal, did not sell me for anything I didn't need, awesome n friendly guy. Definitely will return for future mechanic needs.

These folks are awesome!!!
I brought my prized, restored classic Mustang in for a new starter and flywheel replacement, which at first was a bit of a challenge because it's difficult to find mechanics willing and, moreover, knowledgeable of these older cars. They did not hesitate to accept the challenge and went ahead and did the repair. Unfortunately, five months later, both the flywheel and starter failed just a mile from the shop. Since the car was still operational (after a push start), I brought it by and was immediately met with assurance that the entire job, parts and labor, were covered under their warranty for a year, and in my case, being a AAA member, for two years. The gal at the front counter (Luz), who is super nice, said they would get it in the shop right away and see what had happened. A couple of days later, I met with Michael (the owner), who calmly reassured me that they always stand behind their work and would get the repair done, no matter what. In the end, they identified a couple of possible issues that may have caused the failure, and to make sure that it didn't happen again, they put together a higher-quality setup with better parts, and now the car operates better than ever. I highly recommend calling them first!

The wonderful team at ProTrans helped me out IMMENSELY when I called with an emergency. I had a kitten under my hood that I could not get out! After towing my car there, they helped out immediately and removed the little furball so I could return him to his home. Thanks again to this amazing group. I’ll definitely be bringing my car here for future tune ups. Great guys & great service.

Place was nice but their labor prices were very steep. My cars older and total work was over $800.
Found the parts for $200 and referral from a coworker who did it the same work for $80. I gave the guy a tip and still came out to less than half the price of the shop.
Nothing against the shop, they have to make money but I refused to pay that much.
