By far the worst experience ever had with anyone who prepares taxes. I usually go to an actual certified accountant but I decided to try another route and went with Mike in 2023. My wife and I came in early February to file taxes so we can apply for a home loan. We met Mike mid February and never heard back till May. We then got a call that he finally finished our taxes and if we can come in to pay. I had a business tax and personal tax to file. Mike the. Charged me different than what I was originally told which was several hundred dollars in difference and when I went to pay he then said to his secretary “take off $100 since he whined a bit”. Then coming to find out he put down that we were filing married jointly when we specifically asked to file married separately. He also didn’t put down certain amount in a certain box which could have saved us $3000. Then later on I came to find out that he never filed my taxes.
He never replies or takes for ever to get back to you. We then asked for a refund since my taxes were never filed and never heard from him ever after several attempts. Mike doesn’t care about anyone except himself and getting his money, he is to worried about his place in Utah or where ever than actually working. This is the most unprofessional, lying and careless person. I do not recommend to anyone and I don’t understand how he is getting away with this. Stick to an actual CPA and not someone who “thinks” they are a CPA. And by the way, the puppy he had in his office pee’d on his carpet several times when he wasn’t looking

Awesome place to get your taxes done Michael's one hell of a guy and I'll take care of you I've been going there for almost 20 years my parents have been going there just as long if not longer and my grandparents used to use them as well down to earth respectable just all around a good guy to deal with , I highly recommend getting your taxes done there if you need them done

I am just beyond words and thoroughly disappointed in ************************* of Pluims Tax Services, located in *********, **.My husband has been going to ******* to get his taxes done for almost 30 years. Since my husband and I have married, I have gone with him for 11 years. It was always like going in to catch up with an old friend. However, this year, our experience has been a nightmare to say the least. ******* had made a mistake in placement of figures and used a wrong form when filing our K1s. We spoke to the corporate tax officer at my husbands company, she found the error and said it was a simple fix. We asked ******* to amend it, to which he did and it was amended wrong again. Still saying we owe the state money and in fact, they owe us. We got our taxes done in February 2023, it is now November 2023 and we still have not gotten this resolved. We have been ignored and pushed off, calls and emails not answered to get this rectified. The few times he did respond, was to tell us he is out of the office for periods of time. Our corporate tax officer has tried on numerous occasions to contact him to discuss how this can be fixed, no response to her as well. We are now at a point of taking legal action. We have money owed to us by the state and we cannot get it due to ******** incompetence. We are just like everyone else struggling during these trying times with inflation, cost of living, gas; we just cannot afford to be out money like this. Im saddened that this situation has transpired the way it has. We are definitely frustrated & feel hurt. We NEVER thought ******* would do this to us, especially after almost 30 years of doing business. Just goes to show you cant trust anyone these days.

Mike did our 2019 taxes and screwed us. I understand the covid thing and everything but we dropped our taxes off in March and did not here back from them. The government extended to July so 3 days before due I called mike to find out status. All I got was a screaming delirious man saying if I didn’t like the service I could come and pick them up. With only 3 days left I let him do them. Well here 2022 I get a letter from IRS ( going to make story short now ). The new tax guy we used said mike put down that in 2018 we over paid in taxes so he put down that in our 2019 taxes. He never had our 2018 taxes ( we only used him one time in 2019 ) so how would he know that. So here we are 7K plus 2k in interest. Read the reviews and beware. He puts stuff down on your taxes that is false. I will be contacting CTEC

Charles will intentionally screw you over. I went to him for over 10 years and he betrayed my trust. Please people learn how to do your own taxes. I did my taxes on Turbo Tax but did not submit them. I then proceeded to go to Charles to get my taxes done and guess what I got more back with Turbo Tax! He is incompetent! Stay away!

NEVER returned calls, hangings up on you when you do get to talk to him. Filed incorrect forms and had to pay another cpa to get the work done correctly! Would never recommend to anyonr!

Brittany did our taxes and made a simple mistake which ended up costing us $2300 plus late fees. When I call her, she blamed it on me because I gave her the paperwork. She is supposedly the tax expert, but didn't bother to check any of the paperwork, just entered the numbers, which should have been red flags. I asked her to at least pay the late fee, since it was her error, but she said she would only agree to pay the late fee if we book another appointment with her for our 2020 taxes. Needless to say, I did my own taxes and saved $250.

Michael did our taxes and it caused us a three year audit back in 2016 that were still dealing with! He took deductions that shouldn't have be taken. He was suppose to be the "expert"! I called him repeatedly regarding the issue and like another review posted he got angry and hung up on me. Horrible and super unprofessional... to say beware is a severe understatement. Call me anytime Michael, you have my number
