I've been going to this location for as long as I can remember. My daughter is 5 years old and it's like "toys R us " for her. The bathroom always says out of order & after years of being told I can't take my daughter to their restroom.. (kids need to pee every 10 min it seems) .. I feel it's time to say something. 1) it breaks my heart to have my baby girl denied of using a restroom . that is so mean to deny a child (who may have potty issues, you don't know & it's none of your business) 2) to be told to leave the store & go use another businesses restroom is terrible customer service in my opinion. 3) the manager or area director.. someone needs to be held accountable for not having a "functional restroom" for customers. I've had manager positions & my boss would have fired me if I didn't fix an issue like this & it's been years ! I really do purchase quite a lot here, my daughter loves crafts & I love to see her use her imagination with all the cute things here. I just find it extremely offensive to be told to leave all my stuff, and take my daughter to a nearby business to ask to let her use their restroom. And honestly I feel like I'm being lied to , the restrooms probably do work at Michael's here, and that's even more disappointing. I've researched as far as who is the CEO & CFO of Michaels, and I'd hate to bother Mr. Ashley Buchanan with something as petty as this, however like I said , after years of this & as much money as my family spends here .. it needs to be fixed. I'm happy a new Michaels is opening near me.. however I hope the next kid that has to use the restroom at this location isn't lied to & forced to walk to a different business nearby . Might be a petty complaint, but after this last visit & the situation I had with my little daughter.. needs to change .

I absolutely enjoy my visits to this location. I pretty much always find what I'm looking for. It's a safe environment to shop in as the staff provide a well managed customer service and stay on top of security during high stress shopping times such as black friday and other such shopping sales. I had a rather shocking experience I won't go into too much detail about. I'll just say that thanks to Michael's being so tight on security on this particular day, I was saved from a truly harrowing nightmare. I never got to thank the associate for her rescue. But she came upon the situation just in the nick of time. In any case, since this situation I have gone back to this Michael's location and have felt safe and secure. I have absolute faith in their management's ability to handle any situation that should arise. Aside from that, they are well stocked and will do their best to get you what you need when you need it. They are definitely worth a visit. ?

They always have a great selection for crafts and they give you some good ideas. I gave them a sick nasty 4 stars because the prices don't hit right. They are a lil high.

PLACE IS SHIT I used to love this place but now it's honestly gotten really bad... I wanted to get some Posca markers for a school project but when I asked for them, the employees said that someone had taken the keys home and that they couldn't open it. How is an employee going to take the keys to a cage with expensive things home???!!! I was honestly really pissed that I couldn't get the markers that I needed. The employees there were also fucking rude.

This was a truly frustrating experience. I came for the bead sale and the extra 25% off sale. I saw a toy on the sale rack, I was going to purchase it for my autistic son because it was 50% off. When I scanned it, it didn't take the 50% off (only the 25%). I asked to employee for assistance. She said a customer must have put it on the wrong shelf, it doesn't belong on that shelf. So I'm penalized because they employees at Michael's didn't recover their store. There wasn't just one of those toys on the shelf, there were multiple of the same order. But the staff member refused to honor the price. It makes me think twice about visiting and shopping at this location. Also interesting to note this location's powdered color sugar wasn't on sale when it was at the 3 other Michael's I went to. Not happy with the shopping experience at all

I have always loved going to Michaels for my crafting supplies. Unfortunately this time at this location they did not have what I needed although a representative told me they did when I called. And when I got to the store I couldn't find it and I asked and associate where it was and she said they don't carry it So someone's wires are crossed there either they do or they don't? ?

We participated in the crafting event at the Magnolia store in Riverside. It wasn't crowded, and we had a blast painting and crafting up Summer fun pictures and characters.
