Laughing Buddha in Riverside is a great shop. The Piercer, Hope, helped me me pick the right jewelry and size for my piercing. Hope is extremely professional and does great work. I'll definitely be coming back for future piercings!

wouldnt recommend.. its not wallet friendly at all. I went in to get my piercing downsized and because i didnt get it pierced there, they charged me excessive amount of fees . I paid $45+ for them to simply change the jewlery to a smaller one (eyebrow) . Considering the fact that to just simply get one there is $35 is insane. Not only this, but the lady at the front desk was very rude. I got no greeting, which is fine ok but the fact that she was on her phone and i had to wait for her to finish so she could charge me is so annoying. I also heard from a friend that they charge you more if you want to get the piercing done by the actual piercer or they charge u less if u want to get it done by the desk lady/ cashier. Like ??? what even is that.. ive never heard of something so unprofessional. why would i go to get pierced at a PIERCING shop where the person isnt even a professional piercer...

If I could leave NO STARS I would. These young ladies lack the confidence in piercing and small business ownership. Who take advantage of the community. Do no go here to get pierce instead support a well established and experienced shop PARAGON TATTOO SHOP

Absolutely terrible. There's a million other places in Riverside with better customer service,better management, and an overall general comfortable VIBE. We bought a piercing for my child in Jr. high....TOLD THE MANAGER she was a 7th grader. No problem...they took our money with a smile and that was that. Was told to bring the appropriate paperwork on piercing day. Came the day after Xmas...after Hope flat out told us she wasn't going to do it I asked her to call the manager. She then decided to call the manager..but muffled the phone in front of us and took the conversation to a back room. Then told us she wouldn't pierce. Then told us we couldn't get our money back until a 'manager was on site'...which was the end of the week. The transparency wasn't there OR what a terrible job by the manager for not clarifying absolutely ANYTHING. Honestly Hopes attitude was the worst..the way she treated my honor roll daughter (in there as a reward for straight As and smiling ear to ear)..was absolutely appalling. It was the WORST customer service, the worst ran place I've been to in a long time (as Hope proceeded to tell us we needed to know exactly what date and time we bought the certificate because she wasn't gonna have to 'look' for it). Go elsewhere. I could suggest a few. This place will be gone soon I guarantee. Just don't make the bad decision. Go elsewhere...if you want the zen experience while getting pierced...this is ABSOLUTELY NOT the place to go

I would give 2 stars, just because the woman at the front desk was really nice. The piercer was pretty horrible. Dave may be skilled, but he has no business working with children. We arrived 10 minutes early so we had time to settle in, as my 6 year old daughter was both excited and nervous. We waited about 15 minutes past our scheduled time (we were done with paperwork quickly). We had heard from other parents that the piercers walked kids through every step, allowed for nerves, were kind and reassuring, and played kid videos for distraction. None of that happened. He seemed annoyed from the beginning. He didn't explain what he was doing, so my daughter got more nervous, so I had to explain what each step was, and again, he would then agree with what I told her, but seemed very annoyed. After the first ear was done, she got more nervous and cried quietly, and Dave told us how he had 27 years experience, then told my 6 year old, that he had more than 4 times her age in years of experience. Good grief. I asked for a moment for her, and he threw up his hands and said, " I don't do this!", then said if she couldn't get it together quickly he was done. That is absolutely unacceptable behavior! He walked out, I calmed her, then called him back. He quickly did the 2nd ear, said he was done, and walked out. I was seething. What a horrible experience. I didn't say anything, because I didn't want to upset my daughter. But, please, don't let him work with young children.

Best service! I got my septum pierced here not that long ago and i was extremely afraid. However the piercer made me feel comfortable and it was quick and easy. I plan on coming here to get more piercings in the future when i have more money. I wish I was able to tip my piercer a lot more. I will be sure to tip them a lot more next time bc of their amazing service!

Came here to get my dermal removed & it went sooo smoothly!! Def going to continue to come here :) everyone at the shop was very knowledgeable & helpful I had such a good experience! 10/10

I loved everything about my experience here! I got 4 piercings done and my friend got 3. The staff helped us select jewelry and piercings that would fit well with our existing piercings and anatomy. We took a while to decide and they were very patient.

Me and my sister in law spontaneously wanted to get our noses pierced yesterday and im glad we came to this shop. Staff was really friendly, the shop was clean and Dave did a great job on our piercings. He made us feel comfortable and was thorough in making sure that the piercing is going to go in the exact place you want, I would definitely recommend this place and come back.

I never write Yelp reviews but feel like this place deserves it. The whole staff was so friendly and helpful. My piercer was Airick and I've never had a better piercing experience! He was so friendly and made me feel comfortable. He was thorough in explaining every step of the process and aftercare and what to expect. I'd recommend this place and Airick to anyone.

came in today in the middle of the day when a business like this would typically not be getting business and came to get permanent bracelets with my girlfriend. we would have spent 140$ on these bracelets but the woman working literally did not care and made us sit there for more than 30 minutes when i know for a fact it wouldve only taken less than 2 minutes to go get the freaking pieces of metal and weld them onto our wrists. your loss lol
