The hostess was not helpful, it seemed like we were interrupting her time, did not give much details on what the hotel offered, And we were on the 3rd floor, she did not instruct us where the elevator was or the room. Not customer friendly, we were very tired but we were not rude.
Rooms: Very nice clean rooms, beds were so comfortable. I know now a days we have cell phones to look up places to recommend, but it would have been nice to see something in writing on what is locally available.
Walkability: There were places to walk and get dinner, if the hostess advised us, We ended up driving to pick up food.

Nice, convenient hotel. It is clean and mostly well kept. Breakfast is always ready, easy to grab and go in the morning.
The rub is the noisy window the a/c units.

I stay at a lot of Hilton Brand hotels... And I've seen some bad ones. This, ranks towards the bottom of the list. Not because of the facility itself, but because of service and management.
If you're a frequent Hilton traveler, just avoid this place. I'm a lifetime Diamond and won't stay here again.
1) You have to sign some paper that looks like it came from a fax machine. You are agreeing to their terms and conditions, which apparently are separate from Hilton's. Weird and kind of sketchy.
2) No cell reception, which isn't so bad when you have wifi.
3) You don't have wifi, kind of. We'll, you do, but it sucks. I think a telegraph would get my messages out faster. I'd recommend bringing your own pigeon carrier if you have anything urgent to send out.
4) Being it's corona, and like 700 degrees at night, water seems important. When offered 2 waters and 2 snacks, I just, asked for 4 waters. They save money, I stay healthy, we all win! "You only get two waters, no more". Fine. I'll go drink from the hose outside.
5) If you have a credit card on file with Hilton (that they could charge) they still require you to swipe your credit card. Seems weird, bring on the carbon copy paper? Maybe a check would work better?
6) TV in the gym doesn't work. They removed the power button to avoid people turning it off. Works great unless the TV is already off. Didn't quite think that one through.
7) Really could've avoided this review for if I was just given the 2 waters, it's the little stuff that makes a difference. But the management hear is so strict with the employees and doesn't empower them to do what's good for the guests.
I blame the General Manager, not the employees doing what their told. Apparently with pretty severe consequences.

I was visiting California to be at the first State Gathering for KUFC and I stayed at the Riverside Hampton Inn. I had an awesome experience there. Everyone was courteous and friendly. They went the extra mile on anything we needed.I appreciate all of you. Special thanks to Rosalyn in food service, one awesome lady. She made going to breakfast a pleasure.A bright and beautiful smile every morning. A real people person. She made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you and Thank you to the entire staff. Front desk, you were awesome. And a special thanks to the GM , he made sure everything went smoothly. Love you all and God bless.

Have not been there.
Considering I've never stayed here there can't be any concerns

Front desk girl had fancy nails and was kind and friendly. There is a pool and hot tub. It’s the first night of the NFL so I didn’t use either
Rooms: I got the suite. It’s nice. Only thing I would change is the refrigerator. It is the smallest dorm fridge you can get. Be nice to be able to fit my leftovers.

If I could give zero stars I would Ana has got the worst attitude and service ever. I paid for my room asked for my keys and she attempted to charge me again she ran my card 3 times and it declined told me I never paid anything yet my statements showed I paid for it and she said well idk get with your bank because you didn’t pay. Had to go through the hassle and call my bank for a charge back only to receive an email saying that my reservation has been cancelled however due to me cancelling too late I will be charged a fee a fee for what if nothing was ever booked or charged. I traveled from far I just wanted some rest I wouldn’t have mind if she wasn’t so rude and disrespectful like it was a bother for her to do my job and help out save you money book a more professional hotel like the double tree where they actually value customer service

To Hilton Gold members: This hotel is not willing to offer late checkout at 2pm. A couple of families had an event in the late afternoon nearby so we would like to check out late but all of us verified with multiple attempts that the hotel front desk is not willing to do so (verified on 8/25/24). The latest offered was 12:30pm. We all understand that late checkout depends on availability but we feel like there might be something else because the lady in the morning told me “this property” does not offer late checkout at 2pm. We will not stay again in this hotel. The seating area for breakfast is very nice but the seating area in the evening is blocked. If you are on a work trip and need to sit down for working, public seating is very limited. Parking is easy. Everything else is pretty much standard for a Hampton Inn.

This location is close to our main office and has been visited by me a couple weeks each year for over a decade so I have great insight. The property has seen wear and tear. It's become very popular with the growth of the neighborhood and events held at the local university. All said it is hard for them to keep up maintenance of site.
One visit we had staff in town for a work event. There were repeated issues with the safety alarms awakening our staff from a dead sleep on multiple occasions.
My most recent trip the breakfast staff were short on supplies ( this was late June 2024 not in the pandemic ). Something to note that the breakfast at this and most Hamptons has gone downhill since 2020.

The location was great... but they gave away my room, never wrote notes down when I asked them too (I was flying in early the next morning, so booked an extra day), they never refunded me for the day they gave away and for a suite.... not impressed. Should have been nicer. I stayed in the same chain in Fresno, perfect... Riverside, not so much. Front desk lady (girl) made it seem as though them giving away my room wasn't a big deal.
