“King’s Market is my go to store when it comes to Mediterranean food and drink products! The selection of spices and food has been a blessing since this last year I’ve been exploring new Mediterranean recipes. This week I’ve finally started making my own humus and for breakfast I love to have my eggs with a small dollop of labne with fresh pita. They always restock their pita on Wednesday and Friday. Plus the selection of Arrak is nice. The gentleman behind the register are some of the nicest people I have met and are so polite with a friendly greeting when you enter their business. They will ALWAYS have my business, and thank you for opening your store in Riverside. I highly recommend this store!!!!!!”
“I love the food here. I absolutely love how my dear friend of mine walked me from near the mission inn to this place bought me some great food and drinks and even blessed me with a couple dollars. Such a good friend. God bless this nice place and God Bless My Friend. Just be careful with some Thuggish Type of People that might be walking up and down this area. If you plan on going here make sure you have back up units and know how to stand ground just in case things hit the fan. I'm glad I decided to learn not just one form of martial arts.”
“This happened today:
Stopped at the Stater Bros on Alessandro today after work for dog food and ingredients to make crab bisque soup. But, you know how it is, you see other stuff you need so an hour and two cartloads later, I’m checking out and at this point I actually asked for someone to help me out. The young man bagging my stuff said “of course I’ll help you”. Had to be maybe 19 years old. Before we leave the store I realize my eyeglasses are missing. I tell the checker and the bagger, Drake, and they alert other staff and the check lost and found. Nothing. So I start walking the entire store again (this is a huge store) and I searched on the floor and shelves up and down every aisle. Go back to get my groceries and Drake said he was also searching all the aisles. Go out to my car and I’m ready to drop from exhaustion and the heat and I asked Drake if I could just stand and watch. He said “oh, go sit in your car with the AC on, you do not need to stand here while I do this”. He loads everything in my trunk and as he walks past me he paused and said “have a good night”. I look in the bottom of one of the carts and there are my glasses! Tried to give him $20 as a tip and he refused it. Ugh. I don’t know WHY we cannot tip people when they help us. And he said he also cannot accept tips. I got home and called the manager of the store to tell him everything Drake did for me and how much it meant. Now most of you probably live near your family members, I do not. Other than my kids close by I have nobody. Everything I’ve done I’ve had to do alone with no family support or advice. Therefore, I’m always beyond grateful for help like this.

“I like this store because of the location and the hours. I went to get me some ish at like 2am and they were open! I like that a lot. Plenty people be up needing a liquor store all hours of the night. Glad one is right off University Ave?? ??♀️ And the smoke shop right next to it be open late too. Perfect late nite stop area ??”
“Amazing service at this location. The produce department went above and beyond to help me out. I thought this location had a floral department so I went there and my heart sank when I realized that they only had cut floral bouquets but not really a florist on site. I talk to the check out lady and she said we might be able to help you. She sent me to the cut fruit department and the produce manager and Eva worked to gather supplies to make a nice wrapped bouquets for a wedding. Shout out to Eva and the other person (sorry, his/her name was really hard so I can’t spell it). I was told she was the one who put the artistic touch on it. Anyway, thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”
“The gentleman in produce helped me with a huge win. He went above and beyond to find extra rhubarb for me. After searching all over Riverside, it looked like they only had 2 stalks left, but he found an almost full box that was hiding. He truly saved my weekend.”

“I usually go here for sushi. Yes. Sushi. I never thought I would be able to buy high quality sushi at a grocery store. I have gone there and got the sushi just made by an expert. It's fresh, tasty, and affordable. I take couple of trays with different types of sushi. My whole family loves it.i definitely recommend it. Best Sushi in the area without the high price of a fancy restaurant. I take it home and enjoy it as a watch a movie.”

“I've only been going to AK for almost two years, it's a family run business which I like. I believe the family from India. The brothers and young lady are EXTREMELY helpful. I'm a disabled person (older) and need assistance carrying items. It's just a clean, helpful, and overall good experience when buying few items. Also they offer really cool shirts, sweater, sweatshirts, hoodies, and hats...which I bought and wear/like. Quality items,Still a couple years later. I since moved and walk to A K every so often.”

“I was welcomed as I entered. (I love that! ?) The store is amazing! The products are displayed well and the store is quite clean and organized. Herbs and spices come in larger quantities and cost much less than local grocery stores. They have the best assortment of incense and it's cheaper than anywhere I've found in town. Isha is quite kind.”
“Extremely saddened by the unproffessionalism I witnessed here today. I shop here quite often and absolutely LOVE the staff! They’re always so hospitable and helpful when and if I need it in every single department. Unfortunately I witnessed what I believe to be a manager, woman with red bow tie and glasses, scolding a worker earlier today. Haven’t seen her before so I’m not sure if she’s new or just filling in, but the way she was acting towards her worker was very unprofessional. I’m not quite sure what he did, but no one deserves to be scolded or spoke to in such a manner in front of other workers and customers how she did. I myself am a manager, and do not condone speaking to your workers in such a way, ESPECIALLY in front of other workers and customers. Boo. 5 stars for the store and workers, 1 star for this young lady :(”
