We recently used Golden West. Our experience was disappointing to say the least. When the movers arrived, they greeted us with a handshake (in normal circumstances this would be fine) however, in the middle of a pandemic this unacceptable. We decline the handshake and asked if they could wear their face masks. I found it completely surprising I had to ask that question, but more surprising that they did not have masks to wear. One of the movers laughed and said "the virus ain't that serious, plus I can't breathe when I wear the mask"I had to explain to them that I have family members who were diagnosed with COVID 19 and are hospitalized. I told them we take the virus seriously. I had to provide them each with masks and asked to stay 6ft away from us and wash their hands often. I couldn't believe I had to train two grown men how to properly handle themselves in a professional manner. Stay away from this company they are completely unprofessional and don't take the time to follow CDC guidelines. This company is a joke when it comes to hiring and training employees. We had to tell them how to load their truck and still had several large items we had to move ourselves, because of their lack of basic human intellect! Before we could even ask them to help us move the rest of the items that they could not fit into their truck downstairs into our garage, they were already in there truck with it started, and yelled up the stairs to us- "want to just meet us at the other house?" Out of concern for how carelessly things were being handled and loaded, I suggested not putting the television (unwrapped) in the truck- to which the response was, "probably a good idea, so that way it will make it in one piece?"Need I say more... don't waste your time or money.

Called and spoke with Susan who asked a lot of questions, just to let me know they don't service my area, ALSO my date and surrounding dates weren't available?? Well if you don't service my area fontana ca. -- it doesn't matter if dates aren't available..... they really hype themselves up on the website though.

I work for a long distance moving company and my company has a relationship with Golden West. They are in my area so when it was time to move, I of course chose them because I know what a great job they do for our customers. The movers were on time, friendly and the move itself was affordable. My move was a bit complicated and Jesse made it seamless, he was great to work with. Definitely will recommend Golden West to friends/family when its time to move and I will use them again, as it seems we move every 2 years lol. Thank you!

Amazing moving experience! We needed 3 moving trucks and 5 guys! We could not have been happier with the service from start to finish. The guys were hard-working all day from start to finish, respectful and made the day go smoothly! Everything was moved perfectly and with NO damage to anything! Sovann and Jesse were incredibly accurate with their estimate for what would be needed so there were no surprises on moving day. They were spot on about time, trucks and the number of guys needed. We highly recommend this company.
