Came here to buy some gifts but I just found out today they charged me for their membership . The female african cashier spent 10 mins talking to me about that membership and not ONCE did she tell me they were gonna charge me.

they like to scam you into joining their membership. it was my first time ever coming to this store and they offered to sign me up using a phone number for 10 percent off my purchase. they never mentioned that it was a membership that had a MONTHLY FEE, so i signed up thinking it was just a point reward system like most other stores. the cashier waited until after i had given her my information to tell me that it was a membership I had to pay for and that i had to go online to cancel it. NEVER GOING BACK!

Avoid this store, say no to any membership ! You will be informed after the fact that it is actually a monthly subscription and not in fact free. This is was my first time here and my last

It’s my first time being here and it’s pretty nice. It has much more useful things than Boxlunch and Miniso. The employees there do follow you around but I'd imagine it's cause of the large amount of theft. There's a lot of small items in there so it's a no-brainer why they would do that. At least they don't make it obvious like the employee at the Kpop store some distance away did (she straight up stared at me without smiling). Some of the items they carry are things you can't find anywhere, so make sure you get those! Other than that make sure to price compare on places like Aliexpress and Amazon. If you're a sucker for original merch then by all means you're more than welcome to spend the extra money and buy it.

the employees are rude and follow you around which feels like you can’t breath at all without them watching you.

They overcharge on everything. Something that should be 15 will end up being 45 dollars. The discounts are the market value prices.

Do NOT shop here. I came in over the summer because I thought some things looked cute and I bought an item (which turned out to be broken! That's besides the point...) At checkout, the cashier offered 20% off if I provide my email and said to just ignore the FYE incoming emails if I do not want to purchase their monthly membership of $11.99. In order to be charged, you would have to create an account to activate your membership. I did NOT create an account and I did NOT activate a membership. Regardless, they still had my credit card information from that one purchase I did and have been charging me the monthly membership fee for the past several months. I'm so mad that I did not notice until now. Save yourself the hassle, don't shop here or don't pay with a credit card. I'm disputing the multiple FYE charges with my bank now...

So sketchy! I went to pay, and the girl at the front says if I sign up for the rewards program I get 20% off. I agree assuming it's just an email subscription, then she tells me I can pick 3 magazines to come to my house for free, so I choose 3, then she tells me to accept what's on the screen WITHOUT telling me in 30 days I will start being charged monthly on my card for all 3 subscriptions.I know the employees are pressured into pushing the magazine subscription and they're not obligated to explain the contract on the screen but this company is SUSPICIOUS AF! I'm so glad I read it

I know about the FYE chain, even checked out a few locations on the East Coast. I was pleasantly surprised to notice a location here inside Westfield in Sherman Oaks. It is on the 1st floor, near the restrooms, so it's easy to spot. They have a tad of everything: CD-s, Vinyl, DVD-s and Blu-ray, collectibles, action figures, games, tshirts, toys. Pretty cool merchandise, a bit of everything if you're into movies, music, anime, etc.Big and spacious store, fun to browse and shop at. You can find great gift ideas here, so check it out!

FYE is For You! This retail clothing, electronic, music, collectors and more store is a slice of all things geeky, comic chicy, movie/tv loving, and entertainment galore. And the deals are tremendous, especially for first time customers. I've recently been seeing FYE pop up all over SoCal and am becoming an instant fan. The layout is amazing and the customer service is top notch.Saw they're currently hiring as this is a new store and location for them so if you enjoy bluetooth speakers, Funko, posters, toys, albums, graphic tees, hoodies, candy and so much more then maybe this is the store for you or someone you know to work at or at least support/shop at!You can find this shiny new FYE near the middle of the Westfield Sherman Oaks Fashion Square on the first floor a few beats east of the restrooms and elevator.
