Great little book store. Very clean and we'll kept even though it's been around for so long. Definitely worth a visit if you are a reader.

It's nice to have an independent bookstore you can go to. Atmosphere is friendly and inviting. . They even have new releases now, along with the vast used books colloction. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful in finding special request.

Such a beautiful hidden gem in Downtown Riverside! Recently changed ownership and they have done wonderful things to update the space but keep the original charm. BIPOC owned- support local!! ❤️
Downtowne Bookstore is the oldest independent, woman-owned bookstore in downtown Riverside, California in business since 1979, selling new, used, rare, and fine books and other related retail merchandise. Nestled between the Riverside Convention Center and the historic Mission Inn, it’s been a gem on Main Street for over 40+ years and counting.
