The only reason it gets 1 star is so I can review: Chase is the WORST BANK I've ever had to deal with, even worst then Bank of America, & that's saying something! Chase took my money & still 2 months later has not credited me back. "It's in review in our claims dept", I asked how long until this is resolved ?" I don't know, it's in review". I made the original error, a payment with my debit card went back "NSF" & instead of just charging me the "NSF" fee they took the payment amount! The amount I can't get refunded! How does this bank stay open?? Supervisors that tell me "you should have your refund this Friday 5/5/23 or by the 27th. May 27th! What the hell!? I'm rushed off the phone because A. they don't have a answer/don't know what's going on. B. They just don't give a shit! The worst customer service I've ever encountered, rude, don't give a damn attitude. "Hey suits, afford some proper training for these pathetic employees"!

To be 100% clear, I added a star because the teller was a nice and understanding guy.Now, this chase is DOGWATER. From the moment I stepped into the building I was treated with contempt and scorn. I asked to do a discrete transaction and the manager sent me up to the TELLER WINDOW. Where then became super obvious that I was trying to do something without drawing attention. After proving my identity with two forms of ID the bank decided that it was policy to ask me what I did for a living (I’m a middle aged black man). When I replied that that’s none of their business, they proceeded to tell me that they couldn’t give me my own money unless I told them what I did for a living! Again they claimed it’s “bank policy” for “reporting”. They then pulled over the counting machine and displayed a LARGE SCREEN with my money count on it. I couldn’t have been more embarrassed if I were wearing a sign that screamed “rob me I have money”. So my transaction went from discrete to public.Now, I just moved to Riverside California from another state and I know for a fact that other chase banks do not treat their customers like this. The only reason this Chase treats its customers like this is because Riverside, California isn’t the most affluent area. Because the majority of people in Riverside are working class Chase things that they should be treated like potential criminals.That’s discrimination on the highest order.

I wrote a check for my daughter on Oct 7. She deposited in Golden Union. My A/C was debited. After 3-4 days it was dishonored by her bank and a fine of $15 was imposed. When I checked my a/c my a/c was credited back. I do not understand this gimmick of chase. Why chase refused payment to her bank when I had funds. It was a big harassment and insult to me. I called chase I was kicked from one number to another. The staff was very rude. Wanted to hide its blunder. Finally a person in chase told me why I am calling this number. It is a case of discrimination and harasment to 85 plus colored person.

Very bad customer service!! Carlos the manager has no help to offer !! I wasn't taking money I was depositing and they did not care for my $500 in my hand !! Every time bad experience here !!! Choose another bank !!! It will happen to you and and you're warned !! I will contact main office see what they say for letting customers walking away with money on hand !!

Froze all my accounts for 10+ business days blurry image! I scanned a check and they froze everything. Didnt just put a hold on the check all of my funds. The branch was not helpful and customer service was a joke. Do your banking elsewhere because the app is literally dangerous and the is no support. Shame on you! What if someone was in a delicate medical situation or traveling? They would be in serious trouble. Again, they froze all my accounts because of a blurry check image! Beware these guys are crooks
