This is such a scam! They are just looking to buy your car for a fraction of the price! I got a trade-in value for my car from a dealer at 19-25K and they offered me 15K! The market price for this car is 26K. Do not fall for this rip-off! You will get a better deal by trading your car in with a legit dealer. Do not trust these fake reviews!

On September 13, 2019, I sold my vehicle to this company for $600.00 with the dealer "Bob". This was under the verbal agreement and stipulation that your company would cover the DMV fee and any related parking tickets attached to the vehicle. I made sure to verbally confirm this is correct with your car salesman, otherwise I would not be selling the vehicle. He assured me that my $125.00 parking ticket would also be covered upon purchase of the vehicle. Had this not been so, I would have cancelled the transaction. More recently, I have received notices from the LA Superior Court regarding this unpaid parking ticket and a late fee of $525.00. This is nearly the cost at which I sold the vehicle to your company, and it is clear the ticket was not paid. And further, I understand this was not added to the written agreement, but was very clearly involved in the negotiation process. The salesman said the $62.00 DMV fee would transfer the vehicle title to your company, along with any tickets attached. It is clear that this has not been so. When I spoke with a representative, regarding this matter, I was told that they would not pay for the ticket at all the dealer "Bob" has left. Even further, the representative had told me that their carsalesman had given incorrect information regarding this ticket. I do NOT recommend this business place for their misleading information.

When I first was looking to sell our car I looked into many different companies and after reading the reviews on yelp I decided to go with car stub. Initially everything went smooth, the advisor and myself decided on price along with the terms and they had someone come get the car a few days after. A month went by and I started to receive toll road violations from the 91 express lane for the car I had sold a months prior to carstub, the dates of the violations were all after the sale of my car. Clearly it was carstubs responsibility to clear my husbands name with the toll roads & pay off their violations. So no big deal I figured they forgot to change it out of our names I reached out on the phone to carstub was given Allyson email whom handled these issues and was told to email the violations to her & it would be taken care of. Cut to the chase it took a month for Allyson to get back to me she told me to give it a week & it would be handle but it was not!!! Last week I open my mail and my husband is now being sued by the toll roads for unpaid tolls on a car that we do not own...I tried to email Allyson her email is no longer valid so I assume she is no longer with company, I have emailed carstub directly no response either. I have now been forced to pay off a lawyer for toll violations I was not responsible for so my husbands credit is not scared and have still had no response from this company or indication that they were going to do the right thing!!! My family and myself purchase many high end cars & this is the last place I would send anyone looking to sell their car for cash, please do your research!!!

Wow. Just wow. From initial phone call to check in hand was a 2 hour process. If you need cash fast, this is your place. Your car ad can sit on Craigslist for weeks or months until you get a quality buyer. Shout out to my appraiser Mike who acknowledged the quality of my truck and got me the price I was ok with. THEY DO ALL THE PAPERWORK TOO. Hassle free once they hand you the check

I can't tell whoever reads this who to do business with, i can tell you however how my experience went. I called this place and the lady who answered seemed so nice and honest. I told her i needed to move the car fast and all i wanted was the license plate frame and to clean out my car. She told me it was not a problem and was very proud of her company doing honest business. She explained theY will deduct whatever fees are attached to the car (ex: registration, toll road fees). A man named Sean came to give a quote and we took it. He said he would come back to pick up the vehicle after the check cleared. My husband assured him we woUld cash it that day but we were heading out and asked will he give us one day to clean out the car. Sean said no problem we had two days for the check to clear anyway. The next day they came for the car without notice at 8am. We called Sean several times because i had so much stuff in my car. At first he was on board with returning my stuff. He quickly changed his tone and said "i need a list of everything in my car". I had money, a watch, a laptop, medication and several other priceless things in my car. A few months later i started getting notices from toll roads with late fees attached because they were never paid. Not to mention i never got my license plate frame. This whole transaction has been a nightmare and it turns out who i thought was really honest turned out to be some of the most misleading deceitful people i have come in contact with.

After I made an appointment over the phone, Michael appraised my car and made me an offer immediately. The whole process took about an hour. I appreciate they saved my time. Before I contacted Carstub, I wondered why there are many 5 star reviews and several 1 star reviews. I had a positive experience with Carstub, and this is my genuine review. Carstub will be the best option for people who would like to sell their cars quickly at a reasonable price.

I'm so glad I came across these guys. Very professional staff. Had to say goodbye to an old beloved Land Cruiser of my dads but these guys made the process very smooth. They call you with a quote and send out an appraiser to check the car out. From there they make you an offer and write you a check on the spot. For me, they had to come back to day after to tow my car away. Said my goodbyes to my car and went to deposit my check. They really do give the best offer in town. I would recommend this place to any of my family and friends, you won't regret handing off your old car to them if you're trying to sell it off your hands.

I needed to sell my 2004 Highlander fast and for a reasonable price. My wife got laid off, we needed the money. I searched online and found carstub.com. They contacted me right away. They sent their appraisal Sean Murray. He was on time, honest, quick and with a professional personality. Filled out the paperwork, handed me a check. Had Bob Katagiri come out to appraise my car. When I was making my appointment, I was clear with the woman on the phone that I wouldn't be ready to sell for two weeks (my moving date). She said that was fine, and that Bob would be able to provide me a binding offer upon his visit the next day. They proceeded to dispatch him to the wrong address. First bad sign. I got the distinct feeling he wanted me to commit that day. I told him I was going to get one more appraisal, then make my decision. Always get three bids -- I learned this the hard way during my brief stint as a Los Angeles home owner. He seemed to not like that, but he didn't try to pressure me too much. He promised he'd get back to me that afternoon with a price. That was two days ago, and I've not heard another peep either from him or from anyone else at the company.
