We used Burgess to move our office to another suite across town. they did a great job and were careful with our items. The crew was very friendly and worked well with our staff. We had a fairly new refrigerator that we didn't need and they even dropped it off at Habitat for Humanity at no charge. Highly recommend!

Trucker entrance on Marlborough ave. Decent size lot can get compacted by many cars and forklifts parked at random places. On top of trucker be blocking each other since this location has 4-5 warehouses merged in. Friendly people and they open at 8 once their local drivers pull out backing is smooth. Decent unloading time.

This company moved in some tenants next door to my home. They blocked my entire driveway to my home. When asked them to move the van a little heavy set Hispanic man got into my face and started screaming at me "Are you done? Are you done? Are you ready to leave?" Not professional at all. All three men were wearing Burgess T shirts and one of them stated how they didn't even work for the company but they are helping their friend out. If I were you I'd stay away from using this company.

I used these folks to move from a 2500 sq. foot house + 250 sq foot storage unit. The crew was great and extremely helpful over the two days they were packing up the house. They handled our stuff with great care, and moved some things they were not taking (very fragile things) up to our garage so we could easily drive them ourselves.Out of state move, so North American Van Lines will pick up and load our stuff in their big trucks from Burgess' Riverside location.I would absolutely use them again.

Awesome Company & Awesome employees. From my first phone call to make & appointment for an estimate, to the last piece of furniture moved into my new apartment, I was in awe of these movers. I can’t say enough about the work ethics of Mike & Ricky who took such care & pride in moving my belongings into my new apartment. I could not have had a better or smoother moving experience, & I have moved several times in my life time. These guys took every precaution for protecting my things. I am very impressed with the amazing customer service for this company. Although it didn't turn out that we used this company for a furniture move, James was very accommodating with a bid during the first call, he penciled in a date, let me check around, followed up and held the date, followed up again and was incredibly courteous when we needed to cancel. Burgess made my move so much less stressful than others I had heard of. They coordinated my move with a husband and wife team with North American. My movers showed up on time and gave me the drop off date to my new home in Texas. The company and contractors were very professional and polite. The unload process was wonderful too. The team was on time and all boxes and items were accounted for. I highly recommend Burgess. And a huge shout out to Nathan Doyel, my estimator and coordinator of my move. A+ rating.

Burgess sent out three terrific movers who were attentive, courteous, and professional. Andy, Ryan, and Stephen arrived on time and quickly assessed our moving situation. They informed us of their moving strategy and then proceeded to wrap, load, and transport our furniture. The unloading and assembling of our possessions at our destination was impressive, and best of all nothing was damaged. I would recommend Burgess Moving, try asking for Andy, Ryan, and Stephen.

I wanted to take a minute to write a review for Burgess. From the moment I called, James, was friendly and available to answer my questions. I was moving during a very busy time and luckily they had a day to accommodate my move. Mike, Ryan and Edgar showed up ready to work! For what was a very overwhelming and stressful task for me they made it clear that they were there to help and said, "we want you to relax, we'll get everything then care of". Those words alone allowed me to keep everything in perspective. The move itself was a little tricky, considering we were moving to a ranch and my furniture was going to multiple different areas on the property. These men worked ALL DAY! I was so grateful for them! I can't imagine how tasking their job is day after day moving everybody's furniture. It's a physically tasking job for anyone who understands what it means to be moving and lifting things constantly! Anyways, I just wanted to give a big SHOUT OUT to this company and more importantly their staff and customer service, it was outstanding! Thank you so much!! We appreciate all you did for our family!!
