They sold me a drop axle for my 1960 f100 with all the components. I installed it in my truck and the axle itself was shot to pieces. complete waste of money these guys are scam artist in hack jobs! Completely ruined the entire front end of my truck and now I have to spend thousands to replace the entire front end!

I drove my 72 F-100 4x4 here 9 months ago for a 4 week project. I call and no one answers. I have never have a call back from them. I leave messages and none are answered. I don't even know where my truck is... the location where I dropped off my truck is no longer in use. Avoid this place like the plague!!! PLEASE!!!

Bob’s F1 is a total ripoff and everything they say is a total lie. That includes the positive posts. It took me 26 months to get my truck back. The build was suppose be with new high- performance parts. What I got was an incomplete build with used parts. The wiring wasn’t completely installed. It even had the wrong spark plugs installed. He had placed 350 chevy plugs in to a 351. I made him test drive it. He drove! And all it did was fall flat. Rear main seal leaked. Used radiator leaked. Bolts not tighten or not installed at all. Parts were installed improperly. It ran, but it was a dangerous to drive. Stay away from Bob’s F1. Again, his positive posts, are fiction!!!

I went to Bob's today (despite all bad reviews) and was glad that it is now UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP!!! Scotty is a down to earth type of guy who takes time to listen and HELP you with your problems/questions. Completely different feel from previous times I had gone there. Looks like they are on the right path to try and fix all the BAD associated with the name.

Here is a link on a Ford Truck Forum titled Nightmare at Bob's F100 detailing many whom have been ripped off by Bob Carlisle owner of Bob's F100. Please read these reviews and beware and avoid taking your truck to Bob's F100 at all cost. Bob is a liar, thief and a con man. He ripped me off many years ago, sad he is still in business. His shop is more of a junk yard where your truck is stored outside to rust away. Bob changed the prices after I dropped off my F100 truck, grossly overcharging for work never done, or done so sub-par it needed to be redone. Bob will then force you to finally pick up your truck incomplete with your parts stolen and all work done so unsafe you will now need to find someone else to fix whatever he touched or destroyed on you truck.

I got a 1965 f100 hood from them and it came as described. Scotty worked with several trucking companies to get the best price and to get it shipped cross country. It took longer than expected but they really packed it well and did go through several trucking companies for me, so thanks, its the last piece of my dad's 1965 Ford f100!

Worst experience I've had in my 20 years of owning 50's Ford trucks. Bob is a con artist and a joke. Tried to get my dad and I for 5k in labor with parts. Nice try con man.

I from Florida sent him (3) vehicles my 53 Ford p/u my 55 Chevy p/u my 72 Javelin with brand new parts for the Chevy 2 & half years went buy sent him payments totaling $13,000 & while asking for progress photo proof many times & receiving (1) photo of a chassis that had been sitting with rust development he never sent anymore proof of progress photos & unlike his workers is rude during my inquiries he likes to slam the phone down with me that's like slamming your his face against a boulder in the beginning he'll soothe say you but still with the phone slamming.Believe me I lost all three vehicles over $50,000 and not counting the $13,000 stated.He crooked in his business I'm sorry for those that have to work with him I was so tired of his disrespectful response that I didn't even want the vehicles & told that disrespectful liar to keep them.The (1) he doesn't even deserve that rating.you've heard of grudge matches I would kick his but & make him submit to the loss.
