Just bought a new 2 gal gas can, tried to fill it here but there is a filter insert built-in which prevents the gas nozzle from seating and making a seal with the gas can and therefore cannot be filled. The women cashier had no idea, but assured me it would work. I went in and out of the building twice, finally to retrieve my money... so for your future information, to save time & money... the brilliant new gas can designs don't work on the suction seeking gas nozzles. However, if you wear rubber gloves and hold your hand on the nozzle collar and pull it back to the hilt, a stream of gas will coat your hands and fill your can. Brilliant. $14.00 for two gallons of liquid gold. Only in California. Brilliant.
