Our Service Advisor, Mark Espinoza, was in communication with us before, during and after our service. He made the entire service process very smooth with his knowledge and professionalism. The Indigo Jaguar Riverside showroom and customer waiting room were very inviting and clean. This is the location we will always return to for the service of our vehicle. We drove down from Utah after looking at their website online to look at the vast inventory that Jaguar Riverside offered. I purchased a used Mercedes GLC 300 at this dealership on May 29th and unbeknownst to me, it already had a broken steering column. I took it in to have a window button unit replaced July 11 (because it was broken when I bought it) and upon leaving the dealership after they replaced it, I started hearing clicking noises from the steering column. As I was driving home from the dealership the SRS light also came on. I didn't want to return it because they are not a Mercedes dealership and I was thinking they may have inadvertently done something to my car to have the sounds and the light go off. The light and sounds kept continuing until I took it to Fletcher Jones Mercedes on 8/17. They did a total diagnostic and found $3,491.10 worth of work that was needed on the car, including a new steering column, a new battery because the one that came with my car had excessive resistance, new spark plugs because there was no history of new spark plugs, no history of air filter replacement, and no transmission service. I have purchased several used cars in my 45 years and I have NEVER had these many issues with a used car in the life of it....let alone within the FIRST 60 DAYS. I ended up having to rent a car for $257 as a single mom trying to go to work and take my kids to school. When I got my car back from MB, I noticed the NEW steering column self adjusts when the car is turned on. This never happened even when I test drove the car, meaning the steering column was already not functioning correctly upon purchase. The MB dealer told me to contact Jaguar Landrover and see if they could reimburse me for all or part of these expenses as MB always replaces all used cars with new batteries. When I called Jaguar Landrover they were immediately defensive. They said they always test the batteries (note: not replace- I guess you get a better quality of used car at Fletcher Jones). I emailed the General Manager of Jaguar Landrover on Friday 8/18 and did not get a response until a 2nd email to him, because..let's face it, he probably wasn't going to reply. He called me and told me that it was "the consequences of my own actions" because I bought a used car with no extended warranty. He said MB was trying to upsell me and that they didn't further break the steering column after having done the work in their service department which is interesting because the clicking noises and the SRS light came on IMMEDIATELY after I drove off the lot. I am HIGHLY disappointed in this place and their customer service/response. For being a luxury car dealership, they don't really care about their customers, especially if you get a used car. DON'T BUY A USED CAR FROM THIS PLACE...the quality control is garbage and their response to you for any potential SAFETY ISSUES with your car is uncaring and dismissive. I was thinking about getting a Jaguar SUV as my next car but I'm definitely going to remember this experience and will look at something else next time.

I called in to check the status of my car on July 12 at 2:12PM. The client representative told me the car is fixed and we can come pick up. On July 13 after take 45 minutes drive to the location we were told the car is not done. Worst service ever!
