I called Johnny's today 9/14/2020. Asked if he could possibly take a look at my front bumper for my Honda Civic. He said to come on by, I showed up 30 min after we spoke. He was very polite and took a look at my front bumper. Not only did he take a look but also fixed it at NO COST ! I'll definitely recommend this place for Paint and Body. Thanks Johnny !!

Johnny is the friendliest and most honest guy in the business. He will work with you and/or your insurance company to get your car fixed right at a fair price. Top notch work....can't be beat!

Can't rave enough about this place! A while ago, I was in an accident that dented my driver side door. The replacement door's weather-strip was not affixed to the rest of the car, leaving a gap between the top of the door frame and the car's roof. That allowed rain and water from car washes to trickle inside. Moreover, when I drove over 65 mph, the draft was deafening. Other autobody shops I consulted either couldn't come up with a solution, blamed it on poor door alignment (which wasn't the case), claimed repairs will take a full day, or estimated fixing costs upward of $100. Johnny inspected the car, and quickly determined that the replacement door itself was slightly misshapen. The door (same make and model as original) was attached and aligned properly, but the upper half was slightly too flat which explains the gap. In 5 minutes, he used some equipment to curve the upper part of the door about half an inch and successfully closed the gap. He did not charge me and only asked that I let him know in a few days if my problems were solved. Johnny is an honest and hardworking guy who strives to do good work and help people out. I will definitely return for any autobody work and highly recommend this establishment to everyone!

I'm going to preface this by saying that I am a car guy. I do all of my own work when possible and I am perfectly capable of doing everything a from transmission fluid change to complete engine swaps. I am also hyper detail-oriented, right down to torquing every bolt to factory specs.

I'm going to preface this by saying that I am a car guy. I do all of my own work when possible and I am perfectly capable of doing everything a from transmission fluid change to complete engine swaps. I am also hyper detail-oriented, right down to torquing every bolt to factory specs. Johnny looks like a nice guy. He's soft-spoken, patient, and seems honest. I've dealt with other (larger) body shops in the past for my collision (no frame damage, strictly body and cosmetic) repair and didn't have a good experience with them. I picked Johnny to replace and repaint my front bumper because of his good reputation and excellent ratings online. Regrettably, I found the shop's quality of work to be extremely disappointing. The first time I was asked to pick up my car, I immediately saw that the color of the bumper did not match the fenders or the hood. I work with color (photography and videography) on a daily basis in my profession, so seeing discrepancies in color comes easier for me than for most. Secondly, the finish of the repair was atrocious. There were paint runs, rough surfaces, and pits in several places. "From this angle, the color looks perfect" was word-for-word what Johnny said to me. Which only confirms that from other angles the color did not match, even to him. He kept the car to fix the finish of the bumper but did not offer to repaint it even after voicing my displeasure. Several more days go by and I was asked to pick it up a second time. Most of the finish issues were addressed but it was still unsatisfactory to me. Moreover, the mismatched paint was clearly visible. Again, I told him that I was unhappy. I even offered to pay out-of-pocket, in addition to what the insurance company was paying him to get the job done right. He did not take me up on my offer and insists that he will ask my insurance for more money. Well, I spoke to my insurance company and they will not pay any more than what's necessary to get the job done right in the first place. Beyond that, it would be up to the shop to do the job correctly. So, they would be of no help to me. I then explicitly asked him to repaint the bumper so that it matches the adjacent panels, and to make sure the finish is as it would be from the showroom floor (is that too much to ask?!) He finally relented and agreed but made sure to say "I can't guarantee it will be any better". I didn't think it could get any worse so I told him to proceed. Several more days go by (for a total of 37 days in the shop, 7 days past my rental car allowance) and he tells me it's been redone and it's "a little better". He says 2 insurance adjusters came out and a paint rep even came out to inspect it and all agree that the paint matches. I pick up the car and in my eyes and memory, the color was no different than before. The finish this time around was really good though, so that's a plus! I was honest with Johnny and he was astonished on how I could still feel that way. At that point, I was over the whole thing and just wanted to have my car back. I was defeated and disappointed. I paid what he was owed and took the car home. The color is still off. I just hope it won't be noticeable to the person/dealership who'll eventually buy the car from me in the future. Last point I'll make, I had a dashcam in my car and it runs every time the car is turned on. Well, I reviewed the last few days of when the car was in the shop and supposedly repainted a second time to make the color match a little better ... guess what? I don't think they did anything of the sort. I just see the car moved back and forth, from one spot of the shop to another to make room for other cars in repair. :-(

Everything from minor bumper damage to a full on collision catastrophe.... Johnny's is the best shop in the IE. Had three jobs done there so far and even referred my co-workers there who have all had great results. I think what impressed me the most was his attention to detail, and QUICK turnaround.
