Another horrible experience at the Riverbank Home Depot. Checking out is a joke! Designate lines!!!! Tired of standing in a line and seeing people move other people now waiting in lines to registers. Needs to be fixed ASAP or your going to lose a lot of business. At least 4 other people posted off in line today! Or train your staff better. You shouldn't have to wait this long to pay.

I watched a special on TV where these large companies like Walmart target at Home Depot as part of their own loss prevention they have video with face recognition also are able to connect with your phone and pull information while I did a test go there all the time with my phone smart phone and never no problem I guess they can see how much money I have in my account because it is a theater a millionaire status All I did was purchase two items. One was a drink and all of a sudden the computer froze up then conveniently there's one worker right behind me nowhere else, but just watching me waiting for it's locked up then she Walks up with the biggest smile and says oh is there a problem? Let me fix it I don't know I just got to another one. She was shocked she did not know what to do. They don't teach her what to do in that scenario, so there she goes entering in a code I should've looked to see what it was then I could write it here so everybody will know that they don't need them. They do not want to ring up your items they do not want to break your shiit, but all of a sudden they want to be there to determine if you can pay or buy anything. Then, next thing I know, it works perfectly how surprisingly people need to wake up And pressure and Company I heard of a bait car is there any way as a bait to confirm this? Oh, and I actually dressed like a troublemaker on purpose

Home Depot delivery of my dishwasher showed up on time. Henry the technician who installed the dishwasher came with two other guys, one from El Salvador and the other one from Brooklyn, New York. They were courteous and pleasant to work with. Henry had a very nice surprised for me. Since I didn't opted for installation, which was for $180, and $50 bucks for hauling my broken dishwasher, he offered to installed and haul my old dishwasher as a compliment of Riverbank, Home Depot. This even included the new hoses and the air gap. Being retired and with the bad economy that was big blessing and was so delighted that I almost feel like hugging Henry. For gratuity I gave them a fair tip not much but enough for a nice lunch for all 3 of them. Those guys and Home Depot Riverbank made my day blessed. Thank you.

I needed a new dishwasher since the old one conked out. I purchased the new dishwasher along with the service to install and take the old one out. To the young couples or anyone looking to replace their appliances because it's needed, caveat emptor. When the installers came in, they said I needed to have a handyman come in and trim the top edge of the enclosure because the new dishwasher wouldn't fit but the old dishwasher could come out but both dishwashers were the same size. So, I hired a handyman to come in and take the trim of at a cost of $220. Only to find out by the new installers that the trim was not necessary. And, although the new dishwasher has been installed, the cost was $220 for unnecessary work. Am I upset? Yes. Apparently, Home Depot does a poor job of vetting their installers and their sales people. So, why do I bring in the sales people? I found out while I was purchasing something else, that my phone number was put entered incorrectly. I had them correct it after the sales but apparently, it wasn't done because the installers could not find my location and could not call me because my phone number was not correct on their delivery sheet. After they got to me and told me of the delay to the installation because of the fit problem, I called and asked them to fix the phone number. They rescheduled me in the days ahead. On the day of the second attempt at installation, I called to verify that they had the correct address and they still did not have the correct phone number. And I gotta say that they finally sent out some professional installers and got the dishwasher installed but all the drama before plus the additional costs, I would advise find different options.

They've closed all their self checkout lanes, so at least we don't have to do their work for them. But they need to open up more registers.

Waited on phone for over 3 hours! The people there placed me on hold SEVERAL YES SEVERAL times and EACH AND EVERY TIME SOMEONE PICKED IT UP after being on hold for over 25 min, 15 min, 18 min 12 min 22 min 16 min and 17 minutes JUST TO HANG UP!!! All were females and one even tried telling me no one was ever placed on hold. All were females except the last one was a male and I was just plain livid. At least he made some sortof effort to look for a part. If theres no skew# or product # just hang up your wasting your time trying to get them to look it up on amazon when it's just a 1 1/2 inch non thread pipe with a connector to skimmer for a pool. In the end, they didn't have it. He said we could transfer you to the plumbing department but not sure if they will pick up. Welp I was just soooooo damn tired of waiting (like who wouldn't be?) I said you know you guys close in 24 min anyway i am soo over calling. I'll just wait for the product to arrive from amazon. HOME DEPOT CEO/Home Depot Manager on Riverbank if you are seeing this. THIS IS THE REASON people would rather shop on Amazon. Idk if the people hired are just lazy but I can't even talk to one person to HEAR ME OUT for 60 seconds. That one male dude the last call i made at least made some sort of effort.

I went here to return an item that was the wrong size. The line was short and relatively quick. The cashier was having a bit of trouble scanning the items but eventually got it right. The only downside, the cashier was a bit rude.

So this is a place you love to hate. A necessary evil if you will. This review goes pretty much for any location I have visited. Over the years, I can't remember the $$ thousands I have spent here. They are the closest to my house thus so convenient. Usually team members in departments such as lumber, specialty departments like doors and cabinets are really good. Tony in cabinets in this store is awesome. But then you have to return something ........ now this is when you are screwed. It is not the stores fault that our state has such lax laws for stealing but then It's us paying customers that pay the price. Because of the few that steal so much from them they make it so difficult for items to be returned there. Good example is one of the perks for their reward program is that they email you a digital receipt but guess what they won't let you use that for returns... so what the point? I don't know if it's a requirement for that position to be rude, inflexible and generally as un helpful as possible but if that is the job description for a Home Depot return associate the n they are nailing it.I give it a -2 star for their return process and associates. A 5 star for its convenience, 4 star for their mostly helpful and knowledgeable associates and came up with an average of 3, am feeling generous today.

I prefer this Home Depot over others . I personally like the location. It's right in crossroads shopping center. Yes you do need to seek out someone to help you but it's same at other locations. Every employee I've had to ask for help has been very friendly & helpful. And the lines aren't usually bad. The employees keep 'em moving.

Great store, just don't ask for help even to pay cash and have them check you out, you'll be waiting forever and won't even get acknowledged. This store has everything. I LOVE the garden center. I went in Monday. The garden center cashier was helping someone standing very close (I think they knew each other). I proceeded to go around the store and gather the things I needed via the app. The app lets you know what isle things are in so you don't have to talk to anyone. I did have to ask where isle C2 was however. I finally found an associate. I said excuse me, can you tell me where these batteries are? He says there's a battery section by the self checkouts and I said ok thank you. He says nothing. I get all my stuff go back to the garden center to check out. The women is still helping that guy but now she's on the phone at the only register where they can check you out because I have cash I want to use and completely ignores me. I stand there for a few minutes and I'm just like screw it, I'll use my card. My self checkout is completed in less than 1 minute. There's a woman that's always standing by garden center doors holding a clipboard but never acknowledges customers. Not sure what her deal is. Anywho, this is pretty standard for the store. There are maybe like 2 people here who actually seem genuinely happy. The rest just ignore you and talk with their coworkers. I will be back though because like I said I love the garden center and will just know I'm checking myself out always! Thank goodness for the app!!

Ya'll have 5 motor scooters for those having a hard time walking. 2 were Out of Order & 2 Weren't Charged & 1 (the 1, I had) Died in the Middle of the Isle! That's UNACCEPTABLE!!! I ask a clerk to plug in 1 of them & She Said "Oh I'll Just Have 1 of the Parking Lot Guy's do It" If, that Shows the "Quality" of your Employees, then I'll go Shopping Elsewhere!
