This store deserves a zero! I did an online order today to be picked up at the store. I received a text that my order was ready for pick up. I changed the order to drive through. I arrived at the store and input my parking number. I proceeded to wait 20 minutes and nothing.... no order. I got out of my car to talk to the people at the drive through. They really didn't care about me. Someone that ran orders out to the station asked if he could help me. I gave him my order information and said I had been waiting 20 minutes. He went inside to find my order. The next thing I know they said my order was not pulled. I asked how I could get a notice that my order was ready to be picked up. No response. Someone else came out and I explained my frustration. She said the bag was lost and they didn't tell me. They were pulling the items again. I asked how much longer and they said 5 minutes. I told her this was frustrating and I had another appointment. Her response to me was snarky and rude. She said well I can't make things appear. Really..... how about sorry. After 10 minutes, mind you I was now standing there this entire time waiting, they told me the color I wanted was not in stock. I told him I was already late for my next appointment and they should refund me. I never received an apology; they truly didn't care. This was a waste of 45 minutes for me with a lot of frustration. I tried calling the store to talk to customer service. Every time I hit the button for customer service I was disconnected. I called back and hit the button for HR because now I wanted to speak to the manager. The phone just rang and no one answered. Things must be pretty good for this store since they have no problem treating customers like crap.

The person who checked me out was in such a hurry, there wasn't many people behind me. she handed me my change on top of the receipt and bills and made it seem like it was my fault that my change dropped and she told me to just put it in the bag, the bag she sat on the edge of the counter behind the card reader which also fell because that's not a spot where it goes. and didn't let me grab my things before processing the next transaction. i drove out here for the one thing i wanted that wound up being out of stock and was met with terrible service.

This store...1. Cart control is an issue. They need to put locks on them so customers cannot drive and leave them in the community. I've seen other cities fine Target for not doing this. It's scary to see carts in the water, in the streets and everywhere but at the store. It reflects in the property value and upkeep.2. Store upkeep is an issue. The floors are always dirty. The shelves are not stocked appropriately. Supplies are limited. I'm thinking it's because this location serves many of the smaller towns around Riverbank. 3. Staff is a hit or miss. Some completely ignore you while talking to friends. Others are friendly. This location is hands down better than the other two in the area, but it's still one step away from Walmart level.

I've been putting off getting my sister a phone. She's in a convalescent hospital and I needed to search for a very simple phone. She is very phone challenged, so I went to target and I decided on a flip phone with minutes! I am a senior citizen and not that savvy myself. The staff in the phone department is so knowledgeable there is no messing around they get the job done. The guy name Cal knows his job inside and out. This guy is efficient and his helper Zachita are a very good team! They did everything for me they put the batteries in. They set it up they put the minutes in. They programmed my number so all she has to do is push seven and it calls me they were like a dream team! While I was there, I saw several other senior citizens come in, he took care of their needs perfectly. He makes you feel secure when buying a new phone he will set it up. Tell you how to work it you'll leave they're confident I recommend target for their phones, electronic department. Satisfied customer, senior citizen! By the way, my sister loved her flip phone.

Too bad Yelp doesn't allow zero stars. I just waited in line for 10 mins and finally got my 5 items on the conveyer belt. Employee tells me he won't take another customer. 3 people behind and I should go to another check lane. Left it all there. Worst Target in California.

This is our go to place for FreshPet dog food. Good prices and usually well stocked. The lines today were a bit longer today, but it was the middle of a Saturday and they moved fast. The entry discount area was well stocked with summer decor and craft items.

I wandered the aisles of Target, marveling at the sheer abundance of stuff that surrounded me. It was as if every conceivable product in the universe had been crammed into this one store, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the scale of it all.And yet, despite the endless rows of merchandise and the constant hum of activity, there was a sense of calm and order that pervaded the place. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was always someone on hand to guide me through the labyrinthine aisles and help me find what I was looking for.As I meandered through the store, I found myself drawn to the quirky displays and playful decor that dotted the space. From the colorful towels of the home decor department to the whimsical arrangements in the events section, there was a sense of fun and whimsy that made me feel like a kid again.And so, as I made my way to the checkout, my cart filled to the brim with a mishmash of products both useful and frivolous, I couldn't help but think that Target was a kind of carnival for the consumer, a place where anything and everything was possible, and where the only limit was your own imagination. So it goes, Target, and so it goes.

I live close to this store, which makes it convenient. I have never had and issue at any targets I have been to from Stockton, Pleasanton . manteca and other Modesto location. Lately I have been having unpleasant experiences at the check out with the staff. The check out girls I have had lately have been almost mean. One scan d one item twice. She was annoyed that I handed her something I was not going to buy. Today I had another rude girl. I told her my credit card declined every time I enter phone number. She begins to reply by saying I have to see it to believe it cause it works for everyone. She did not even stop to consider the possibility that maybe my phone number is not linked with card or something before being condescending. I already dreaded having to go to Thai location and interact with the check out staff. I am not going back. Not to mention it is never organized. Two starts only cause my daughter likes target.

I used to enjoy shopping here. But in the last year I have rethought my opinion. It is Christmastime but yesterday I was shopping with my sister and all we heard was Mexican music while we Christmas shopped. I'm tired of my American culture being overtaken everywhere I shop. To make it even worse, this store is filthy. There is product everywhere all over the store just thrown all over the place. Some of the employees walking around are not polite. They cut you off and walk right in front of you and don't bother with any manners. "Excuse me" is apparently out of fashion with these younger kids. Take some pride in yourselves and clean up your act. I won't be shopping here again.

I want to give a huge shoutout to Heidy for helping me yesterday. I gave a friend a $50 gift card for her baby shower. She called letting me know that there was no balance on the gift card. So embarrassing! I told her I would take care of it. I rushed over to Riverbank (keep in mind, I bought this gift card at another Modesto location). The first associate was unable to proceed and needed managerial assistance. This is when Heidy came over to help out! Even in the midst of the early holiday rush, she was kind and courteous. She called the gift card phone line and explained the situation. Although the issue isn't still resolved (the gift card specialist needs to review my "case"), Heidy was so understanding of my concern and did her best to help, while also helping out her staff.

Until they can fulfill my order that I placed online, I'm keeping it one star, they always jip me from my online orders, they always end up telling me " unfortunately, it's out of stock" when the website says they have a bunch in stock.

Another great shopping experience. I looked online and was searching for a floor lamp which indicated on the Target website that there were two in stock. During my search, I found that two of those lamps were on display and not readily available for sale. Thanks to Tawney and her manager, I was able to obtain the display model at a discount since it was a display model. Both Tawney and her manager went above and beyond to make me a happy Target customer. Plus her manager explained the situation to the cashier who was very pleasant as well so the transaction was completed to my complete satisfaction. Thanks Target for hiring a great staff.
