This location is absolute trash. I placed a mobile order so that I didn't get stuck in the store. Nobody was working the mobile pick up drive up. I waited in my car for 45 minutes. Finally went inside and not a single person could find anyone to help me. I waited another 30 minutes before eventually, deciding just to leave and cancel my order.

I would have left zero stars, but it wasn't an option. I came to return a lawnmower that stopped working after only using it once, and they wouldn't let me return it because was a gas powered item. I've only had it 9 months. I've been a value member/cardholder for many years, and this is how I get treated, I'm not shopping here anymore.

The Home Depot app is terrible to place orders online. Yeah, I know this is about a store, not an app, but my transaction started on the app. There will be a lot to air out here, so bear with me. Let's talk about the Ryobi products for a moment. No one in the store tells you the warranty offered is only for Ryobi authorized service facilities, nor do they inform you know that there is only one in CA, which is located in Fresno. You'll need to know that info if your product doesn't make it to its first birthday. So I am obviously in need of a new lawn mower since I never got to celebrate my little Ryobi's first birthday or get him to the Ryobi healthcare facility 2 hrs away with gas at almost $5 again who wants to drive that far. Also, it bothers me to go green, and the headquarters of Ryobi is in Hong Kong, a high polluter. But whatever, this is a store issue. Head to the store to purchase a tool only since I don't need any more batteries, just a tool. To my surprise, they're only pushing tool and battery units. Who wants all those extra batteries anyway when the products don't make it long enough. So, I have a few to use and do not need to add more to the collection. Leave the store and find what I need online with a next day ship to store option. Sold! Didn't realize the nightmare to come. Confirmation email says expected delivery and pickup Tuesday. But wait before placing the order it said next day. Now i try to cancel and cannot because you can only cancel within the hour of placing the order. By Monday, everything is stuck, Tuesday is still the expected, and my email now says Weds, FedEx says Tuesday, Home Depot app says Weds but don't click the tracking from the app it doesn't work. Now let's call the store where my mower shows delivered according to FedEx. The girl that answered the phone needs to be retrained or fired. "Didn't you call yesterday? What did they tell you yesterday? Well, at this point, you can wait till Friday. " ummmm, I didn't call the store. I texted customer service, who told me Tuesday by the end of the day! I'm sorry if answering the phone is an inconvenience to the staff but the money the customers pay this store pay those wages. We, the customers, also have a right to know where the money we spend may be since we're being given the run around! So here we are today, but there is still no product that I paid for. App couldn't give me an update. "unexpected error," confirmation email still shows my item is on an adventure to who knows where. Called the 800 number, the person helping me called the store and had me on hold while I received a text message about my ORDER BEING CANCELED! CANCELED! Who approved this? The store manager was supposed to be contacted, and this would be resolved. All lies. I have no refund, so technically, you all owe me what I paid for. Most unprofessional store. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere after this. They'll sell you trash so you can spend more money there in less than a year.

Worst customer service ever. Went to purchase a lawn mower. The website clearly stated there were 11 in stock and the sale price. The tag above the mower also reflected the sale price. It rang up full retail price. The cashier wouldn't listen to me at all. Claimed the Home depot website was a different vendor and the price online was different in store. Even though it clearly stated pick up at store in stock and the price. She called a manager who never appeared but told the cashier I was wrong and the sale price was for a trimmer. They lost my business and a large sale

This place has become the big shit show. ASM never want to do their JOBS. Everything that you buy has either been returned with missing part or damaged! And they never want to make it right when you ask for your money back. All they wa t to do is give you store credit. Which is bull shit because you run into the same problem when you buy something!!! I was employed by them for many years. Managers pick and choose on who they truly want to help!! I purchased a shower wall that came damaged!! And all they wanted to do is give me store credit because Amina, the store manager, was upset that she had to go to the service desk to do work. It was her and another manager going back and forth on who was coming to help me!!! Store 1842 used to be a great store when it had ASM that actually liked the work!! I would stay away from this place.

Went to buy a pressure washer. They were locked up. Asked three different associates for help. After 10 minutes, still no assistance. Leaving the store, one of the associates we had spoken with was at the exit. Did not ask us if we had been assisted. We went home and purchased from Amazon. Guess they can afford to lose sales. I'm certain we're not the only ones this has happened to. Won't be going back.

I hope this review gets taken seriously for l am a manager myself at my workplace. For one, I love coming here with my husband for shopping, employees are super nice and always greet us but, on days when I just want to be left alone, I use self check out, it has the word self in it for a reason. I know the workers want to be helpful and do their job but I do self checkout for a reason, I don't want to be hovered and be asked questions when I'm ringing my stuff up. Also, l've recently came by and over heard a rude employee, maybe a supervisor? I think her apron read Deb for Debbie, But that is just absolutely wrong to be rude to your own employees. Hopefully they talk to her about her attitude!! ????

Went in to purchase two storage tubs and the girl standing guard at the self checkout takes apart our storage tubs to see if we stole something? Like what the fuck can we fit between them sandpaper? While you let people run out of your stores stealing tools! Wtf! If you're worried about people stealing open your fucking registers.
