Went in to make a purchase and was planning to use some coins I had rolled the employee had to get permission from his boss they said they couldn't take it so I payed in two dollar bills and the cashier again had to ask his boss if it was okay to which he said yes then the employee proceeded to check them to see if they were fake I was pretty embarrassed by that and won't be back

I have been stopping by and shopping on my way through town what a great store always clean and stocked. The employees are always friendly and helpful I'm so glad I found a new store.

Was there for 5 things and two workers on the clock. I was in line and so were 15 other customers. Upset only one worker checking out while the man just roamed the isles not once trying to help the lady checking out. Customers started to walk out the store with the carts full and nothing was done. I should have walked out with my items but its just sad the kids u have running this place that CLEARLY don't wanna work. Will never come here again. Also will tell everyone I know to avoid it as well. PLENTY OF others stores that will have better service and workers wanting to work. The man told a customer I cant run out for the people walking out with Items "ill get fired" like my guy I bet u wont get fired for actually working and checking people out instead of hiding in the back like a scared little boy. You guys just SUCK! Hope you close down sooner than later for the people who live close by. Just sad and pathetic.

I had an incredibly unpleasant experience dealing with the manager named Luke at this establishment. He seemed completely disinterested in helping customers and instead chose to belittle and undermine anyone who approached him with a question or concern. His condescending tone and dismissive attitude created a hostile environment, making it clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority for them. I would strongly advise anyone considering this place to think twice, as the manager's rude behavior significantly tarnishes the overall experience.

I would strongly advise the management of the store to address the behavior and attitude of Luke, as his conduct reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole. As a customer, I hope to encounter friendly and helpful staff members who genuinely care about customer satisfaction. Regrettably, my experience with Luke was far from that, and I cannot recommend this store until significant improvements are made in terms of the management and training of their staff.

Doller general is my place to go. I Went in to buy a car charger and my d*** self locked my groceries and my keys in my car. But thank god! for Casey she was so helpfull and and understanding.

I used to work here so I'm kind of biased, but I love the store. it's in a great spot and it's always kept really clean and it's not difficult to find items I need (unless they're out of stock)

Was visiting family in Riverbank and just wanted to grab a couple items. I've only been in 2 of these stores so have limited experience however, I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness of the store and was greeted by a very kind man upon entering. He was the same man that checked me out when I was done. It was very early so perhaps he hasn't been emotionally drained as of yet but keep it up people, I'm sure you'll ruin him in time. Faith in humanity restored for the moment.

Stopped thereon April 23 about 1100. Came in and asked about leftover Easter candy. Lady stocking the candy aisle was extremely rude. Just said no and you can check out the table up front. Cold as ice and seemed bothered. Asked if they had black jelly beans and she just rudely rolled her eyes and said no ! Asked the cashier with bad acne for the restroom key and she seemed bothered too. Maybe they didn't want to be there on a Saturday. But in my opinion maybe you should be thankful you have a job and be nice ! Not cold and rude ! Won't ever go back there !

I just wanted to take a moment to say that Dollar General in riverbank is definitely moving in a good direction with customer service. I went in the other night to shop and 2 of the nicest women offered to help me find anything I needed I needed. The store looked fabulous also

A worker with reddish hair that was working on dec 29 2021 on a Wednesday at around 5:30 pm was really rude for no reason she would watch us as we would shop and when we would do something wrong she would tell us to stop with an attitude.
