It's a great store, but the lines are almost always backed up into the aisles in the afternoons, causing a 5-10 minute wait. They really need self-checkout lanes. Sprouts in Modesto has self-checkout, and I can get everything I need in 30 seconds.

Update: Their preseason chicken in the back taste like nothing but salt!
Nice store, very clean, nice staff However, the butcher in the back must be overworked because I had to peek around the corner to see where he was. He told me to wait a minute. He asked me what did I want? I told him the Seasoned chicken chunks which is super salty so salty I had to throw it away. After he packaged it, he turned around and left. He didn’t even ask if there was anything else I needed.

Walked from the truck stops in the morning hours - walked out with way more than I expected because of the good sales. Very friendly staff as well.

Middle of everyone coming home and there's NO express line, 3 checkers at registers, 2!of them closed. Long line with both large and small items. Waited 10 minutes to buy 3 things.

Over priced and under staffed. Of the staff they do have, it seems rare to find someone that is helpful or friendly.

The cashiers are always pleasant. On this visit the man at the bakery went out of his way to find me a big bread bowl for our Christmas Spinach Dip, another man helped me find Christmas cookies even when he was on break, and the cashier even pointed out that I could save money on my Christmas cards with a coupon they were offering. It was a pleasant experience in the chaos of the holiday season.

People are nice but this store just lacks everything! They need a much better deli and meat department to keep up with some of the stores in the area. Also... I don't see why it takes so long to check out at the grocery store. There are times that they only have one line open with a customers waiting and other times that they have almost every line open, but it still takes way too long. This place needs a complete overhaul.

This place seems to always have a 10-20 min wait for cashiers. Secondly the items are never the same. Also what happened to having a dairy free section. Have to go to Modesto or Manteca for a lot of basic items. Guess it's time to start making the trip to Safeway more often
