When i moved here to Rio Vista I was in need of a mechanic to do repairs on my vehicle. After trying several other mechanics in town I came across Rio Vista Muffler Hitch & Welding and met Bob and Dana for the first time. Bob was busy yet when he saw me in the office he greeted me and made me feel that my repairs that I needed were important to him. As he spoke, his years of experience were very evident, I could immediately see Bob would be of great value, his repairs and prices to my vehicles have been superior to all others. I will not take my vehicles anywhere else. News you can use from someone who has been to many other repair shops. I travel 150 miles a day for work so my car takes a beating, thanks to Bob and Dana I'm confident my cars are rock solid. For an additional piece of mind this shop is AAA approved

I never got to obtain their service. I walk into the office to inquire about a hitch for my car. Unnoticed at first, there was a big huge cat sitting in one of the chairs. I waited my turn as there was another customer in front of me. My fear of cats is real!!!! When it is my turn, I am speaking to the lady at the counter at a distance because of the cat. The cat is meowing and such. She said, "Oh, see's talking to you." I mentioned to the lady my fear of cats, but she brushed it off and said, "She is very persistent." We continued to exchange information needed to obtain my part. When I walked up closer to the counter, the cat jumped from the chair to the counter. I immediately stepped back so there would be no interaction with this cat. In our conversation, the lady is having a hard time hearing me, as she keeps asking me the same questions. I mentioned that if she would move her cat, I could come closer. Then the cat jumped from the counter to where I was, FEAR took over, and I asked very sternly PLEASE GET YOUR CAT! PLEASE GET YOUR CAT! The cat was looking at me with her back arched, and I said again PLEASE GET YOUR CAT. The lady came out to let the cat out, while the guy in the back said, "You can go somewhere else." What??????? is that how you treat a customer? Everybody is not in love with their pet, especially in a business environment. At that point, I left. If you have a fear of cats/animals or allergies, do not go to this establishment because you will not be treated professionally.

My experience with RVMHW has always been the same. Excellent service .the helped me Out when in a fix for some repair work. I can always trust them with being fair as well.

I highly recommend this shop for repairs! Fair prices, professional work and honest. Had them track down an oil leak and they found it quickly. They have excellent communication. Been bringing my vehicle and wifes for some time.
