This little hidden gem, The Treasured Penny is so warm and inviting. The 2 lovely ladies, Wendy & Ashley greet you with friendly smiles (yes...even behind the ? masks!). I have purchased a few pieces of furniture and home decor. They were very flexible with some custom work I needed! Go visit! You just may find a hidden treasure.

Wendy and Ashley do beautiful work at a great price!! painted my table with beautiful rose decals too!! I love walking down memory lane seeing all the collectibles and unique items they have in store...a must see!

I saw a small dresser on Facebook so I went in to look and fell in love with a different (larger) dresser. I bought the dresser and paid to have it custom painted. They carry mineral fusion paints and being someone that refinishes my own furniture and even mixes my own paint - I was sold on the finish and coverage of the mineral fusion immediately. I worked with Ashley who was extremely professional and sent me progress pictures of my piece. I was pretty specific on what I wanted - dark wax on the details, shaded drawers, etc and she nailed it! It was delivered this morning and I LOVE IT! They did an amazing job! I'll be heading in soon to buy some paint for another small project!

They are so nice and helpful! I am soooo glad I didn't just order from the internet. They do work in the shop which is helpful for examples. She didn't even know me but said she would let me borrow one of her expensive brushes to try!! Who does that anymore?! More to come on my paint adventures with this shop...stay tuned!
