Nearly a month ago i accidentally shut my key fob in my trunk causing my car’s anti theft program to activate making it impossible to start my car. I tried all of the troubleshooting from online and nothing worked. The dealership wanted me to pay to tow it to them, for a diagnosis and then pay for the new key and programming. I called the Key Shop, explained my situation and Jake who got new fobs for my car ordered right away and worked with me to schedule a day or time for him to meet me at my car to reprogram my news keys. Car started right away like nothing ever happened. Jake and the Key Shop were friendly, efficient and their cost was extremely fair compared to what the dealership wanted. Would recommend them to anyone having any issue like mine or just needing a new key made. Thanks Jake!

After going to 5 Chase Bank locations in the Sac area for Notary Service, USPS in Rio Linda recommended The Key Shop for notary service. What a fantastic place! From the time I walked in until I walked out, the customer service was exceptional !!! They do more than Notary & Key services! Chase Bank may provide free Notary services for customers, but The Key Shop provides EXCELLENT Customer service with very reasonable prices, quick service & and smile! I will never go anywhere else when I need keys or notary services! Friendly sincere service with a smile from The Key Shop!

Great place to get a variety of different types of keys, from house keys, commercial keys and even program vehicle keys! If The Key Shop doesn't have your key in stock they are more then happy to order it for you, and have it at the shop within a couple of days!

Rio Linda is fortunate to have The Key Shop in town. They provide so many essential things for both personal and business needs. Keys, copies, notary, P.O. boxes, the whole nine!
Highly recommend using them instead of having to drive to a big box store. They are local and extremely friendly.

This key shop has many features! Not only is it a key shop, but they offer private P.O boxes, They can Fax, print copies, they can send emails and attach documents if needed, they offer FedEx. The owner Allen and his family are sweet people and if they don't have a service that you need they will try to send you in the right direction. As a communitylet's help support this little shop. They are located in the heart of Rio linda in the parking lot of the mini shopping center on Oak lane and M street. Come check them out.
