“2 Installers came out and didn’t take long assemble my projector screen and mount it. They didn’t rush it, and they made sure there weren’t any creases in the screen plus they made sure both the screen and my projector were level before they completed the job.”
“Very happy with their work, The technicians were very informative on the work they will need to have done, there was no waiting list compared to the other vintage electronic repair shops in Sacramento. This shop maintenance and repaired my 1970s pioneer stereo receiver model SX-950 serviced, for the first time out of 20 years of owning the stereo. I was nervous about bringing it in at first. I purchase the stereo when I was 19 years old, and now I'm age 41, It's somewhat sentimental. The technicians were very personable and understood the sentimental value. They even helped me carry the stereo in, they replaced all the parts with the original new parts, they repair my stereo fairly quickly after the parts were ordered, It took them less than a week to repair it after the parts came in, which is really good waiting time for a vintage stereo repair and maintenance. They were really good they cleaned out my stereo internally from dust, and externally. I was so impressed by the shop, they they inform me they repair the smaller vintage televisions from the '80s and '90s that gamers like to game on. “This GameStop has exceptional staff that go above and beyond to help all customers. They treat all customers with the highest customer service no matter if you're able to or disabled. My adult nephew has special needs, he can't read or write and when he is on one of his long few hour walks he stops into this gamestop. The employees always make him feel like a valued customer and they always help him with games to buy, what ones are currently challenging and when he is stuck on a game he takes pictures or video of where he is stuck and then goes into the store and ask the employees if they can help him and nine times out of 10 they have the answers and explain how to get past that spot or what he might be doing wrong. So we both would like to thank all of the staff at this game stop and GameStop corporate for hiring such exceptional people. And to the last manager, Shane, who moved to another location, he is greatly missed by my nephew, because he went above and beyond to make sure my nephew felt like a fellow gamer. He was able to relate to my nephews needs and shared with us that he has a brother with special needs as well. My nephew loves his new PS5 that he bought here because of Shane treating him so good. We wanted to support this store over amazon because of their great service. Thank you. Thank you, thank you.”

“I am 64 years old and not very modern technology oriented but I did just buy Samsung Galaxy A23 5G which I love and want to know everything about it. I went to Cricket store because I received messages to update the software and needed WiFi for that. I was slightly frustrated because I didn't have WiFi. That's where I met Hakeem who immediately put the smile on my face. He was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He took time to explain to me how everything works, let me use WiFi in the store to update software and I left very happy with this incredible service. Thank you Hakeem and Cricket.”

“I went here with a list of items that was confusing I usually go to the other big store in West Sacramento and the service is not good however I approached an associate ask asked for assistance but another associate that was of duty helped me find everything I was looking for now that’s what I call customer service if this employee reads this tell him I said thank you I don’t my daughters shopping list is confusing and he really helped me out a lot and every time I’ve came it’s been the same they will stop working and help you instead of ignoring you”

There is going above and beyond, and then there is the service I received.
I visited this 7-Eleven for the first time at around midnight. My phone was dead, I was tired, I was lost, and I was anxious. I went into the 7-Eleven to buy a phone charger. The cashier who greeted me(who I wish I got the name of, she deserves a raise. She has a lot of piercings if that helps get her the credit she deserves) gave me directions to get home, let me use her phone to look at directions, and offered to charge my phone for a bit for me. But more than any of that, she was a friendly face in an otherwise daunting situation. And at the end of the day, the behaviors and simple kind gestures of this attendant restored some of my faith in humanity.”

This Metro by T-Mobile at Elverta and Walerga was a good experience. They actually had the phone I wanted, (unlike a few other metro stores).
The employees are knowledgeable. When I got my new phone the setup was quick.
(Though I did have to pay more because I didn't want a new number, I don't understand that policy style from T-mo/Metro on porting.)
And I would have to minus a half star for being signed up for an additional plan service addon without being asked (of which it can be found in the mymetro app usually) , though all phone retailers seem to pull that these days.
Otherwise a very good experience.”
