Gary took a look at my car and brakes. I am so grateful to him and the staff there. Very kind and wonderful people staffed there. I couldn’t be more pleased with their service and help as my family and I visited here for the first time. Now we can have the peace of mind getting down the mountain.

Visiting family up in Sky Forest when my car made a not-so great sound. My BIL highly recommended and introduced me to Gary. Even on a busy day, he diagnosed the issue, provided a detailed estimate (fair and honest), got the parts and I had my car ready to roll before they closed. Highly recommend!

Gary and Camille are great people who love their community, take good care of their customers and their vehicles! Level entry, wheelchair accessible, Good clean service, fair prices, and always friendly AND professional. I know there are many of us who appreciate you serving our community.If Gary can’t do what your car needs, him and Camille will do their best to refer you to someone who can.Right next door there is a wheelchair accessible Valero gas station / convenience store with CLEAN BATHROOMS [ They sell Full Throttle energy drinks & lotto ], and an in-house Mexican restaurant with good food & indoor seating.

Gary, the owner, answered. I asked for a quote and before I even finished my question he interrupted me and as I tried to explain my situation, he continued to interrupt me. Horrible manners and customer service. He said "I had to walk 60 feet to answer the phone. I'm out of breathe." What does that have anything to do with being an asshole?

First time customer. I went to Community for an oil change and safety check for my truck. Met Gary at about 8:15 am and had the truck back on the road by 9:30 am. Gary is a personable guy and answered all of my questions. I think I may have found a mechanic on the mountain. Stay tuned for any updates.

The owner did me and my family a big favor by taking care of us without an appointment late on Friday afternoon. We were towing our trailer during the hotest time of day and were dealing with some transmission temp issues. We pulled over, called the owner and were told to come by and they would take care of us. A little top off of on transmission fluid and we were in and out of there in 30 minutes. Thank you for your kindness and flexibility.

The owner/mechanic is great. He keeps you informed and very honest . The prices are more than fair. If he had someone else in his office it would be perfect. His wife is rude. Going on and on about how busy he is. Couldn't get any answers or information or a time to schedule for my car to be seen. You just can't get around her. I asked if she could get a basic quote and call me back. Oh no, we don't have time to do this. Don't get me wrong. Gary is great . She just makes it not worth it. I use Jim's in top town. His prices are more than fair and you don't have to go thru the insanity at Community Auto

I called Twin Peaks Auto to see if they could replace the brake shoes on my 1970 VW Beetle, and they told me to call Gary at Community Auto Repair. Gary got me in on the same day. His crew replaced the brakes, cylinders, and repacked the wheel bearings. A quick turn around at a fair price. I highly recommend Community Auto Repair Service.

Gary is always accommodating and willing to share his knowledge and has been mine and my children's go- to mechanic for over 30 years of living on the mountain and just a great guy and has become a good friend!!
