“Customer service at this shop is honest, detailed and simply amazing.
I promised to write this review because Speedway more than earned it.
I drive by this shop every single day to and from work and I've never known who they are or what they do. I haven't had auto work done at too many places in this town since I haven't lived here for very much of my adult life and I've always either gone to shops that were on the busy main streets or were suggested by coworkers and friends.
I didn't know this shop even existed until Daniel Koch reached out through a Facebook post I made when looking for help when my engine started to break a couple of weeks ago after work. I reached back out to Daniel and in our conversation he assured me his shop could handle the job I needed done from start to finish including towing the car, sourcing a used replacement engine and removal and replacement.
I've never needed an engine replacement before but I knew I was in for a costly repair. Que Ser a, ser a...such is life. Daniel did his best to ease the pain while still giving stellar customer service. He called frequently to address any issues no matter how small or how large that had anything to do with the fix. I requested some extra work as well like a brake replacement and an extra leak test. I wanted to be sure my fix would last. He was honest about every issue and would tell me if he felt it was urgent or not always giving me a choice before he took any action or ordered any parts. He was always willing to take pictures or to show me in person so I could verify what he was saying but I trusted him through and through.
When all was said and done he had the car for less than a week. When I went to pick up the car he had restored my headlights at no cost (Something I really needed done) he had the car thoroughly cleaned, the a/c was recharged (an added service it needed and we discussed) and he was sitting in the driveway ready with the vehicle for me to test drive when I got there.
He was remarkably fair on labor costs and truly honest to his every word. It's unfortunate this happened and unfortunate I needed to bear the cost of these repairs but Daniel made this experience as pleasant as he possible could and I appreciate him so much for that.
I will definitely return here for service. Fantastic experience.”
“I was driving home to LA from Mammoth mountain and I had my car had an error code and needed to stop. Luckily I stopped by Auto Kool Service and they checked the system and indicated the problem right away. They helped clean out the filter, cleared the error code, and advised me to the closest Audi dealership in case I continued to have the problem. They were very knowledgeable and honest. I was very thankful I found them. I would highly recommend them to anyone.”

“The woman driver I encountered was an absolute nightmare – rude, aggressive, and dismissive.
When my husband called for a taxi during our stay in Ridgecrest on June 26-27, 2024, the car that arrived had a driver who was visibly shocked to see me. She laughed mockingly when I asked if she was the taxi my husband ordered for me and rudely rolled up her window, refusing to take me because she was expected to see my husband and not me. She acted like an angry cow, incredibly unpleasant and disrespectful.
Being French and not fluent in English, I tried to explain my situation, but she just laughed at me and hung up when I called her back. Her behavior was unacceptable.
Thankfully, Alfred arrived after my husband called the company again. He was kind, polite, and helpful. Shocked by his colleague's behavior, he apologized and offered me the ride for free.
I give 5 stars because Alfred's excellent service should not be overshadowed by the awful behavior of the first driver. If you encounter the same woman, avoid her car, but Alfred will provide outstanding service.”
