“What a great experience! Allow me to paint a picture for you. I had just finished a 13-hour day at work in the blistering heat and inhaling smoke from the wildfires for majority of it. Ready to jump in my truck and head home. Battery wouldn't start my always faithful Ford Ranger. Got it going, decided to stop in Oreily because it was the most coinvent stop but their employee was too lazy to wipe of the battery terminals so his machine could get a reading. Pretty enraged, I left and went to this AutoZone. Where a wonderful young woman took the time out of her day to unhook my battery and properly test it, being I had no tools to do it myself. Happy as can be I was ready to pay and get out of there so I could just be home already inside with some A/C. She took the extra time and looked up my battery which was to my surprise under warranty. Not only did this woman give me excellent customer service but she also had me driving away without spending a time.
It is amazing to see some people taking pride in their work. I am sure this is mostly a thankless job for the AutoZone employees, but I just want to say, thank you for making my day much better than it was going to turn out to be.”

“The woman driver I encountered was an absolute nightmare – rude, aggressive, and dismissive.
When my husband called for a taxi during our stay in Ridgecrest on June 26-27, 2024, the car that arrived had a driver who was visibly shocked to see me. She laughed mockingly when I asked if she was the taxi my husband ordered for me and rudely rolled up her window, refusing to take me because she was expected to see my husband and not me. She acted like an angry cow, incredibly unpleasant and disrespectful.
Being French and not fluent in English, I tried to explain my situation, but she just laughed at me and hung up when I called her back. Her behavior was unacceptable.
Thankfully, Alfred arrived after my husband called the company again. He was kind, polite, and helpful. Shocked by his colleague's behavior, he apologized and offered me the ride for free.
I give 5 stars because Alfred's excellent service should not be overshadowed by the awful behavior of the first driver. If you encounter the same woman, avoid her car, but Alfred will provide outstanding service.”
