“I had two of my French Bulldogs spayed at AFC on 4/8/2024. To say the least, I was very nervous as brachiocephalic breeds, run a higher chance of complications with and from anesthesia. Because of this, most low cost spay/neuter clinics, including local shelters will not accept Frenchies or other brachiocephalic breeds. However, not only did AFC accept my girls, Dr. Goh and her team took EXCEPTIONAL care of both of them! The organization of the entire clinic is stellar, from scheduling (only done online around mid month, so may be a bit of a wait to get an appointment), to drop off and pick up! One of my girls, Paris, bounced right back to normal within 5-6 hrs after picking her up,(I believe a bit too soon), because of this, I was worried about my other girl, London, who took almost 2 days to start acting like herself again. Needless to say, Dr. Goh was absolutely caring, responsive and patient with my after hour concerns. I would like to mention that AFC is a nonprofit clinic who is accepting donations and also has a GoFundMe to help sponsor the move to their new location. If you are local to this wonderful organization, they can also use old newspapers and other types of donations.”
“Codornices offers terrific veterinary practitioners. I have had the pleasure of taking both my dogs to Codornices for many years. I have had the good fortune of seeing Dr. Gurley, Dr. Grant, and Dr. Lie. All are kind, caring, and terrifically knowledgeable. I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough.”
“The staff at Thornhill pet hospital is the best!! Theres something really special about this place. Dr.Yang and Alicia, take great pride in the work that they do. They keep me informed of the care they give to my dogs, and i totally trust their judgement and decisions. They strangely have a special connection with the animals, which makes their care that much better. Ive taken all my dogs to Thornhill pet hospital and wouldnt even consider any other veterinarian.”
“Definitely five stars from us. Taking your fur baby for a surgery is never fun. Our Roxy needed TPLO surgery after hurting both back knees. Our Dr. was very genuine when giving us options during the consultation. Also, the staff was very professional and comforting. I hope not to return and if I do, I have the confidence my fur baby will be treated with comfort.”
“Dr Judd has has performed three ACL surgeries on my dogs and has taken wonderful care of my two pups!! My dog Harry recently had a few fractured teeth and they made a real effort to get him in quickly and we were able to sort it out quickly and at a reasonable cost. They were rock stars! I also really enjoy all there staff, they were wonderful!”

“Caring, compassionate knowledgeable care Is what we have consistently received over the past 12 years. They were with us for the entirety of my labs 12 years from his first shots till being put to rest last August after cancer. They continue to care for our four-year old maltipoo, and our recently rescued one year-old pitbull. we are grateful to have such a strong team there for us when needed.”

“Amazing Customer Service ! Each and every person greats me with a smile and knows my order. Then , always carries 2cases to my car.
I Will only shop at PetVet for my/customers pet needs...food etc.”
“I had a minor concern for my dog, a large rash and hitching/scratching. The receptionist could not book an appointment when I visited the hospital, but she gave me advice and I was able to book an appointment the next day once they were done with their triage for the day. The doctor addressed both the current concern for my dog but also discussed his health in general and his current medications since he is an older dog with a heart murmur. The staff is attentive, proactive and kind.”

“My kitty, Calypso, always had wonderful care with everyone at Claremont. The front desk staff is efficient and pleasant. The techs are caring and gracious. The doctors who saw Calypso, Leggeri and McDonald, are informative, thorough and communicative. However, my most recent need was euthanizing my dear sweet friend. It followed a month of exploration into what was wrong, referring me to an outside vet for confirmation and discussion so that I was able to make the decision to go the palliative care/end of life route that was best for Calypso. When the time came to let Calypso go, the Claremont front desk was so kind. The tech was so gentle. Dr. McDonald was professional yet understanding, tender and compassionate, letting me know exactly what she was about to do on each step. The empathy from all was not sappy but distinct. I was given as much private time with Calypso as I needed during the various stages of the process. It was awful to lose my beloved sweetheart but I couldn't have asked for a better team to help me help Calypso move onto her next journey. From the bottom of my heart, I cannot thank you all enough.”
“I am so thankful to have found this rehab clinic. All of the doctors, techs and even front desk staff are so kind, caring and helpful. My dog has had a long road to recovery and I couldn't have survived the journey with all the help and support. I highly recommend!”
“Pet Vet is an awesome resource and I recommend it to anyone in the area with pets. I first started shopping here because the flea meds were cheaper than at my vet's. There's a great selection of food and supplies (some hard to find) and you can get a lot of normally "prescription only" items. Some require a clinic visit but others like sub-q bags are easily available.”

“Following up on a recommendation of Creature Comfort by my neighbor was the best thing for the health and well being of my cats. This practice stands above all others in expertise and integrity. When my cats get seen for their annuals, I am amazed by the amount of time devoted by the doctor to discuss and address any issues. Doctors and nurses follow up after treatments. It's so easy to get an appointment. If my cat has an issue, they often help me resolve it via email or an appointment in very reasonable time. They are totally on top of prescription requests and let me get them filled wherever works best for me. I definitely see the holistic improvement in my cats' health since coming here. I really can't say enough about Creature Comfort and I recommend them with absolute confidence!”

“I've had to bring my 9 pound small dog here three times for emergency situations, and one time for surgery to repair her torn CCL - Cranial Cruciate Ligament (basically like a human ACL).
Every time I've brought her in for emergency situations, the staff has responded with care and relatively quick attention.
When I brought her in for a CCL surgery consult and then the actual surgery, requiring an overnight stay, I am going to go out on a limb and guess I was as anxious about it as my dog was. In advance of the surgery, Dr. Meltzer and staff did a fantastic job explaining the surgery to me - she spent an hour with me to talk through everything. I had gotten two surgical consults elsewhere and ended up going with Dr. Meltzer for a variety of reasons. I'm really glad I did. The surgery was ten weeks ago and my dog's leg is almost good as new. I highly recommend Dr. Meltzer for small dog surgery.
The only downside to PETS is that I found them to be a bit loose with the appointment times. I typically waited 10-15 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. So perhaps go in expecting to wait a bit past your appointment time.”
“This vet is our go-to! Whenever I go here I know my pup is in good hands. Dr. Wehren is extremely attentive, kind and knowledgeable. She answers all of my questions and I really trust her recommendations. My rescue pup is shy but this office goes above and beyond to make sure she's comfortable. The vet techs are superb and I've always had an A+ experience with them - Dawn, Ryan and Adris to highlight a few :) Mocha and I highly recommend this vet”
“Affordable vet! I’ve been here twice. The first visit is when my cat had a fever. The second visit is a year later when my second cat began to have breathing problems. I usually go to a different vet for their yearly shots, but this is my second option. They were extremely helpful both times and my cats recovered each visit. The receptionist ladies are quick answer the phone and are accommodating when scheduling an appointment. The vet workers in the back know what they are doing and are kind. I didn’t spend over $500 for both of the visits, and my kitties recovered days later!”

“I absolutely love this clinic! Dr.Nama was so nice with my Dragon!!! He usually stressed when visiting vet, but not this time!
After the visit we are still in touch regarding my cat’s health and wellbeing.
The staff is nice too! Very thoughtful!
Love, love, love!!! ❤️”
“I've been bringing my Kitties to VCA Broadway Pet Hospital for many years and the Doctors and Staff are extremely nice, and truly care for your pets as if they were their own. I've always trusted them with my "Fur Babies", they are compassionate and very knowledgeable. I lost both my Kitties to Cancer recently.... if in the future I decide to fill my house with these cute Bundles of "Fur" that bring so much joy, I always go back to VCA BPH. They are like Family to me! I highly recommend them, they are caring and compassionate.”
“They were responsive and helpful but slow. Like I was having an emergency and needed their help. They didn’t see to care much and told me to look for a different place.”
“My dog had ten teeth extracted during a dental cleaning. Dr. Bowyer and KVH staff/techs communicated timely and clearly throughout. Dr. Bowyer explained what was found during the exam and x-ray, the surgery to be performed, and the care my dog would need in the 7-10 days following. Staff/techs reviewed with me in detail the meds, food prep, and what to expect post surgery. The printed material I was sent home with was helpful and clear.
KVH is a top notch veterinary clinic.”
“My dog was wounded. I got an appointment that morning. Vet tech was kind and gentle. Doctor cleaned and examined her wound. She was thorough and caring. I saw 4 other dogs come in that morning. People and animals were all calm, unafraid. The best experience I've had at a veterinarian. Doggy is back to her old self in 12 hours. This is my new vet!”
“5 stars for Vanessa as a groomer! Specifically for having the patience and strength to handle trimming the nails of my energetic pit/lab mix. One of the rookie groomers turned him down, but Vanessa stepped up and became my go-to for nail trim appointments”
“I’m very pleased with the great care my miniature poodle has received. Dr. Yamakazi is very knowledgeable and Bobby is doing much better. Ashley also is very detailed and helpful in assisting in care and reviewing and emailing my instructions. Great job Oakland D4As!”
“We've consistently had a great experience with all of the staff, vet techs and veterinarians at Berkeley Dog and Cat Hospital. They've taken great care of our dog who has a rare and serious bleeding condition, both in the acute emergency as well as outpatient settings. For primary care we currently see Dr. Sirkis, who is great. Even though our dog's condition is very rare, she takes the time to research questions we have to give us an informed response.”
“Amazing staff, very conscientious doctor. Our cat got turned away at other vets for being difficult. It was her first time going to a vet, and was very scary for us and her. They did not give up on her, she was able to have her exam and her vaccines. They’ve earned all my future business, this is a caring and hard working vet clinic.
Thank you all! (Especially the front desk, for helping us get her in)”
“Have been our clan’s go-to clinic for the past 3 yrs! Started with my first baby and now all 4 of them ????
Appreciate the admin team for always supporting us with appointments and paperwork alike.
Have seen different vets at the practice, but just after 1 recent appointment, we know we love Dr. Orellana! Moving forward, we hope to continue our appointments with her ✨
Last but not least, Quincee has been awesome with send-offs ? thank you so much for always loving and caring my babies!
— Yumi
P.S. The fact that they take Trupanion direct payment assures my mind for major illnesses and emergencies during weekdays. For weekends, the emergency hospital with Trupanion direct is in Concord.”
“This review is for Amy Pierre who practices acupressure at All Paws. I have known Amy for almost one year and she has worked her magic on my senior dog many times. She is professional, personable and has a special connection with animals as well as an ability to translate what the dog is experiencing to the guardian in lay terms--much appreciated for my unscientific mind. My dog definitely considers her to be one of his best friends and goes bonkers when he sees her. That's a sure sign that she's doing something right!”
