Ben was amazing and polite. He showed up on time and was well versed in his trade. He towed my truck directly to the shop with no issues. Big thanks to Toro road service

Needed a tow locally in Richmond quoted me 150 dollars to row about 3 miles and when the driver came he suggested I go somewhere closer for the same price and assured they can do the job to fix my tires they weren’t able to get the job done I asked for a tow to the original place I asked to tow to an they charged me 150 dollars again and said they can’t pick it up that day so my car was stuck in the tire shop and they couldn’t pick it up till 2 days later! Terrible company, bad customer service and don’t care for their customers at all. This place is straight robbery wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.Service: Car towing

They SUCK. I pro-booked an appointment one day prior. They didn't show up on time, and kept hanging up on me when I was checking status....all to find out they didn't send the "outsourced" company with the right charging device. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. WASTE OF 3 hours.

THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!!! Do NOT tell your stranded motorist that you will be 45min to get them towed only to not show up 6 HOURS later!!!!! You should be ashamed of yourselves. This a disgraceful company and would never in a million years recommend them to anyone. Nothing like waiting and waiting in a broken down truck on the side of the freeway. Worst ever!!

Wish there were -0 stars. Called them for a tow from Novato to Richmond. They said $300 Flat fee for a Flat bed. We were very specific about needing a FLAT BED. Spent 10 minutes on the phone with a non knowledgeable person about tows trying to explain why we needed a flat bed. Tow truck gets to the towing place and arrives in a NON FLAT BED. After we were specific about needed a FALT BED! Driver gets there and says he needs to charge $380 bc he needs special equipment, we call them back to get a discount bc it wasn’t our fault at all for their mistake and they tell us we either take the tow or wait two hours for a flat bed. Which was never specified or explained to us in the first place they told us a flat bed was ready in 30-60 mins. The person who we tried to speak about didn’t even let us talk and said “if you are trying to get a discount it ain’t gunna happen so you either take the tow or cancelation fee will be applied” rude and not professional in so many ways. DO NOT HIRE THEM FOR YOUR TOWING SERVICES. IMAGINE BEING IN A CAR ACCIDENT STUCK WITH HOSPITAL BILLS AND THESE PEOPLE LYING AND CHARGING YOU EXTRA FEES WITH OUT BEING ABLE TO PAY RIGHT NOW. They sucked. So dissatisfied and disappointed.Service: Car towing

Toro Road Runners is the most incompetent and untrustworthy tow truck company in the Bay Area. I called them to tow a vehicle from a warehouse to the airport, emphasizing many times that timeliness was of the utmost importance given that we had an appointment we could not be late to. Despite reassuring me numerous times that the truck was going to be on time the next day, the truck was over 1 hour late, thus severely disrupting our schedule for the rest of the day. What is particularly frustrating and disappointing about Toro Road Runners is their fundamental lack of integrity, which permeates their entire business - the dispatcher I spoke with (Rose) reassured me that the truck was going to arrive promptly at 10.00 am. As the clock kept ticking and no truck materialized, I called the dispatcher, who reassured me that the truck was only "10-15 minutes away". 15 minutes later, the truck was nowhere to be seen. This went on for more than one hour, during which Rose kept lying about the location and expected arrival time of the truck. Furthermore, it has to be noted that their business model is to spend heavily on Google advertising and to then subcontract the towing jobs to other companies, and not to maintain a fleet of trucks and a team of drivers. Toro dispatchers refuse to share the phone numbers of the drivers saying it's their "company policy", requiring customers to call the dispatch center should they wish to get in touch with the perpetually-late drivers they subcontract the jobs to. The real reason is that they often don't know themselves which driver has been assigned to the job, making any communication difficult and time-consuming. The subcontracted drivers are given little context on the job and its requirements, making it difficult for them to choose the right equipment and be on schedule. Lastly, the truck Toro dispatched had an expired registration - we were denied entry into San Francisco Airport as they rightly require all vehicles to have a valid registration. This only compounded the disruption caused to our operations, as we had to call another tow truck and wait more than one hour (in addition to the one hour of delay caused by Toro). My heartfelt recommendation is that you stay away from Toro Road Runners - an inherently dishonest business, whose dishonesty is only compounded by profound incompetence.
