Target is the new Walmart! Everything important we use daily or need is locked up. You have to find someone to go open it for you, since they don't come to you. One of the biggest things I hate is not being able to see the product such as ingredients, want it does, how to use it, etc... Unless we buy it! & All the employees they give you that look like hurry up and pick something. If target is going to act like Walmart they should at least lower the prices (just like Walmart)! On top of that let me not forget how unorganized the shoe & clothes section is !

Worst TARGET ever !!!!! I live 5 minutes away and came here for items , I usually purchase regularly I tried to ask an employee a question and she didn't even give me a chance too ., she was rude obnoxious and with unnecessary attitude. She won't amount to much in life. Shameful behavior.I will be driving to another location.

Should see employees attitude and how they treat customers bad for no reason employee name Silvia on self checkout is rude and has no manners might want to check cameras on how she talks to people makes us customers feel so uncomfortable take a look on cameras and you'll know what I'm talking about

This was our go to Target in east bay for years. Better selection, everything. They had a fire a few months ago and since then have had an overzealous militarized response. They had literal IPS convoys suped up like they are super cops, leaving their vehicles parked in front of the store for intimidation purposes in a primarily Black and Brown community. Then add in their extensive beauty selection is now under lock and key. You buzz for an employee and wait ten minutes and they never show up. Whats the point of all this protection when it makes people unable or no longer to want to buy? Its become a dreaded experience, its weird.

This place is an oasis of generally good manners in an otherwise rough town. Xiao Hua is an excellent cashier. Tracy is the best manager they could have. The beefed up decor looks paramilitary. The starbucks and cafe close way too early and are understaffed maybe they can hire my mom when she recovers from cancer treatment. Great layout wish they had more fresh groceries though.

This is the worst Target I've ever been to. Target corporation should invest in recruiting, training and retaining staff in this place (and maybe paying them a living wage?). Lines are long and slow bc not enough cashiers, staff is overextended and overworked, inventory is always lacking, no clean carts or baskets to be found, I could go on and on. Its location is very convenient to us but I'd rather drive all the way to Pinole for the above mentioned reasons.

They stock the basic stuff, and staff is friendly. But they are chronically short of carts, or their cart collection person is not on staff that day, or the carts are broken, or the carts are all in the lot and haven't been collected. I've had my carts stolen while shopping three times. It's been going on for months. Management needs to fix this.

Be Aware. Shopping Cart "Thieves". They will empty your cart and pocket whatever is of value. This will increase your "Shopping" time. Target personnel are aware of these individuals.

Compared to the Target I go to in Fort Lauderdale, this one in Richmond is pretty bad. Few if any carts available inside. Maybe 3 self-checkout stations (compared to 16-20 at my usual Target), long lines and few registers open. In addition, this is the messiest one I've been in. Clothes and goods all over the floor, things out of order on racks. I guess the customers are as much to blame as the lack of staff pride and attention. One plus, they offered a free mask at the entrance when asked.

While I have not had any issues with the store itself, the pharmacist there has been a nightmare to deal with, let's just call him Roger. My daughter's ADHD meds run out on Wednesday and the pharmacist refuses to fill the prescription early. The doctor has ok'd it, the insurance company has called the pharmacy to let them know it is ok to fill, but the pharmacist still refuses. He will only refill "early" (I am asking for 2-3 days before we are out of meds) in case of emergency or travel. I am unable to pick up her meds until Friday because of work and meetings. I consider a child unable to have self-control or do school work for 2 days, an emergency, especially for her self-esteem. To deny the doctor who is trying to provide care for his patients as well as deny the insurance company is just ridiculous. After calling CVS Corporate, they said it is ultimately up to the pharmacist (the pharmacist is being a j*** because he can be). It is a shame. I have been filling prescriptions at Target pharmacy for over a decade and I don't plan to fill things at this Target again unless I am in a bind. It is a shame that this man feels the way to boost his ego is to deny a child her medication.

I mean, it's Target. Sometimes the line gets too long and sometimes things aren't in stock - but that happens anywhere these days. Some of these complaints are more about the customers than about customer service. In all my years of going to this store I've only had problems twice. One was an over zealous checker during COVID (who apologized for her words as did I) and once during the beginning of the drive up program I ended up having to go into the store. That's it!
