Best furniture that I have purchased in my life and the products last a life time. They have the best natural products that would be nice in any home.

Ordered nightstands from NYC building in July 2022. Sent deposit of $2,330. Get notified in November they are ready and want $2,328 more which was sent by check as well. Then told on 1/12/23 the nightstands are in a "migrated color". It is outrageous to be told that after my final payment was collected. The order was collected and a month later on 2/15/23 I have not received a check even though my decorator was promised I would receive a refund within two weeks. I will file complained with NYS Attorney General if I don't hear back by Friday 2/18/23. Furniture companies must refund money within 2 weeks by NYS law once an order is cancelled. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND HORRIBLE AND DISHONEST COMPANY. (order number 965259-000 SF)

Terrible experience with PALECEK! Would give them zero stars. We purchased a very expensive table, that my adult son sat at one of the leaves at Thanksgiving, and an entire chunk of the table is peeling. It is all peeling and cracking all along the edge of the table leaf. We have sat there one time in this section and PALECEK will not stand behind their product. Clearly faulty and below level product. Shame on you PALECEK! Do not waste your money! There are other quality furniture brands that stand behind their product. Have only had the table for 6 months. The table is terrible looking now!

Palecek is my go to place when I buy furniture and lighting. I have been buying from Palecek for over 10 years. I have never had a one problem. Customer Service is top rated. Shout out to Pat who has been wonderful throughout the years. Beautiful quality and Craftsmanship are put into each piece of furniture. I love the earth tones and uniques styles. I get many compliments and when people ask me where I get my furniture. I am proud to say Palecek.

I have several PALECEK items in my home and they are holding up and looking beautiful! To be fair, I only go to the warehouse sale they do roughly annually, but the prices are cheaper than IKEA when you go to that and you can get a lot of beautiful pieces.

I bought so called leather Hudson chairs. They have all now pealed as they were not actual leather. Stay away!

I've bought from Palecek for years, and I've always been satisfied with their furniture quality and customer service. That's why they've been around 50 years. Sheesh. To those of you who bought the bi-cast leather barstools from them: Yes, the word "leather" is used on the site, but it's also made clear that this is bi-cast leather. That's why it's the ridiculously low price of $700 and not $2,200, which is what Palecek normally charges for a leather counter stool. This was no doubt a misguided attempt by Palecek to offer a far more "economical" stool. Bi-cast leather is a material made with a split leather backing covered with a layer of polyurethane that is applied to the surface and then embossed. It's inferior to regular leather, and depending on where it's made and their quality of operation, it can start to degrade after a year or so. There is no way to fix it. I notice Palecek discontinued these stools (there are a few remaining ones on their site and they can't seem to give them away), and they don't use bi-cast leather in any other product. I'm guessing Palecek learned their lesson with this experiment. I am surprised, though, that they didn't admit they knew there could be problems with the bi-cast leather, and that they didn't make good on your barstools. Palacek doesn't sell directly to the public, only wholesale to designers, and your designer should have known what bi-cast leather is, or at least been suspicious of the unusually low price.

We would give them zero if we could. We have six of their leather Palacek bar stools. All six have cracked and leather peeling off to fabric mesh. It's a mess. The peelings are all over the floor and stick to people after sitting in the chairs. These chairs are expensive and should last a lifetime. Called customer service and received the typical answer that perhaps they weren't cared for properly. They also told us that this hasn't been a problem with their chairs. Palecek should read this YELP page! Inferior product, no customer service support, expensive product = STAY AWAY.

Terrible quality. Hudson barstool covered with supposed leather has been cracking and peeling for a year now, maybe longer. If I recall these barstool were over $600/ea and should have a lasting quality for that price. Their item details now claim it's bonded leather but when I purchased these stools the details said leather. Will contact them again but after leaving a message yesterday and failing to receive a return call I'm not holding my breath. I would NEVER purchase a Palecek item again. I take incredible care if my belongings so it's no fault of my own. Simply extremely poor quality.

I've purchased several items from Palecek at their Annual Warehouse Sale. I still have all of them, except a red leather barrel chair (I gave it to my son). It's been at least 10 years, and still gorgeous; no cracking, peeling, stiffening, etc. Same with a rattan sofa table/writing desk with "stingray" leather top, two coordinating swivel chairs and a stool with leather seats, and a rattan bookcase. Perhaps there has been a shift in quality since then.
