My mother’s car was wrecked by my sister’s friend and unfortunately, it was not covered by insurance. I will not get into it. Suffice it to say, I was challenged by many throughout this ordeal – the insurance company, Midway Mufflers & Brakes, and AAA. Nonetheless, when we finally had my mom’s car towed to Crash Champions, I was initially skeptical because it was a big chain. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Gabby was incredibly knowledgeable and was a tremendous help. I do not live in the same town as where my mom’s car was wrecked and where Crash Champions is, but I needed to get a quote from them about repairs to the sub-frame. According to Midway, they could not do any mechanical work on the damage to the radiator, A/C condenser, or the oil and steering fluid leak until an auto-body shop fixed the sub-frame.
So, I called Crash Champions. Gabby was unsure that I could get out quote because I was out of town and not the owner of the vehicle. I sent her a DPoA and she spoke to the GM, AJ Garcia. He said that they could take a look at it and give me a quote as long as I would agree to get it towed off the lot if I decided not to get it worked on there. I agreed to this.
I did some research and got the value of the car on KBB. The next day I received a call from Casey after she sent over a preliminary quote. I told Casey that the price of just the auto-body repairs was just less than the average value for the car and that was even without the price of the mechanical repairs. So, it would not be worth it to get it fixed. Casey said that they could work on the price with me. Also, I was surprised and happy to hear that Crash Champions did some mechanical work such as the radiator and the A/C condenser. However, they did not have anyone available to diagnose or fix the oil and steering wheel fluid leaks. The preliminary quote for the auto-body work, radiator, and A/C condenser was higher than the average value.
Then, realizing that, according to Midway, there would be even more work to be done on it (oil and steering wheel fluid leaks and possibly more); even though they never put it on the rack and charged me to “assess” it. Who knows how much more it would be to fix it?
When I told Casey it was not worth fixing it and appreciated the quote (especially since my mom needed to see numbers), she was incredibly gracious. After briefly telling her my back story on the car and that it was not covered by insurance, I asked her if she needed me to get the car towed that evening. She said it was late in the day and we could do it in the morning. I just started crying! I was just emotionally exhausted with what felt like I was battling with everyone and to have her be so nice, I cried happy tears.
Bottom line, I hope I do not need auto-body work, but if I ever do, then I would work with Casey, Gabby, and AJ at Crash Champions at Hilltop!

Someone scratched my car with a bike, and Alondra went above and beyond to help me with the paint job, even managing to get the scratch off. Her effort, sympathy, and care for customers are truly commendable. The store provides extraordinary service at affordable prices, prioritizing customer satisfaction above all else. I can't thank Crash Champions enough for their exceptional service. From the moment I walked in, General Manager AJ and the entire team exuded a warmth and supportive attitude that put me at ease. My car was in for a bumper repair, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive it back the same day after work, fully repaired and looking fantastic. Not only did they do a phenomenal job fixing the damage, but they also went above and beyond by detailing my car, leaving it sparkling clean. The entire experience was seamless and stress-free. I was all smiles and relieved to have my car back in such great condition. So unprofessional so rude.Had a collision repairFor installation of bumper they took 24days after that when i bring my car home my bumper locks comes out. Then i visit again to shop they making excuses and behavior is soo rude and not fixed my problem. I recommend don't come here it's just wasting of time and money.

I just have my car fix at Crash Champions Collision Repair, 3230 Auto Plaza Dr, Richmond, CA. Before I got there, I went to a couple of different shops. This body shop won my confidence. In deed, there did a wonderful job, and fixed my car ahead of the schedule. The crew I talked are AJ and Gabby. There are all professional, and the location is clean and spacious, and very easy to rent a car there.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at any auto body shop. They had my truck for a month and didn’t even fix it. I would call every week and it was near impossible to get ahold of anyone. The lack of communication was insane. When they would answer I’d be put on hold till the machine hung up on its own. Also got charged for something that was halfway done. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. If I can do zero stars I would.

Called to discuss repairs on a damaged vehicle, we get to discussing damage and I explain that I'm looking for a broad estimate to compare with other shops who have offered estimates. The representative completely blew me off after I pressed her for details. I am told repeatedly and after 5 minutes of discussion that this was not the right body shop for me even after I offered details such as paint-code and part #s to order. Didn't even step foot on the premises, just a call. She was dismissive, rude, and condescending. Not interested in seeing how they conduct business in person. Stay away unless you want to be treated with unnecessary disdain.

I visited Crash Champions early morning the day after Christmas for a quote. I’ve got to say, the establishment was professional from beginning to end.My consultant Donovan was on time, professionally attired, addressed me as a valued customer, explained every detail, and provided an all around great experience.The offices are well appointed with coffee and bottled water for customers. I know this sounds pretty standard, but there was just something, a nuance of extra attention.I haven’t decided on who will do the repairs I need. I’ll be getting a few more quotes, but CC is definitely in the running because of their professionalism.
