Bad sales practice. Do not buy from this dealership. Agreed in principal on a car cash deal, as we were getting a cashier's check, they called to ask for a $1000 more to alter the negotiated deal. Never doing business with Hanless Hilltop Nissan & its sales people. Update: we took our business and purchased at Vallejo Nissan instead.

Cold calling people who don't even live in California (or near California). I have a North Carolina area code and the jerk who called made a smart remark on my voicemail about me sending his call to voicemail. I would have left it alone but since he wanted to show his true colors, I figured I would let everyone know the type of people they have working there.

Brought a 2012 Dodge challenger from this place and it was dangerous. They knew it was in and accident where someone mcgivered the bumper back on with plastic rivets or something and 3 months later the bumper hanging off. I thought someone back into it when it was Park is why I didn't know right away. Opened the hood and noticed all parts that supposed to connect the bumper was missing. Too late for the lemon law. I've been had. I saw nothing on the carfax.

Absolutely horrific experience with the incompetence of this dealership. I will never buy another Nissan from Hanlees Hilltop and I don't recommend you do either. After receiving my 2023 Aryia, I was only provided with one key. The manager said they would send me the second via mail. A week goes by, no key, no communication. After continuous requests for an update, I was told that the service department had lost the key and I would have to purchase a new key for $550 and submit the invoice to corporate for review. Ummm no. You lost the key, you replace it. End of story.
Nissan is fully responsible for the replacement of the key that was included in the purchase of the vehicle.
The key is not even the real issue. The complaint and cause for the one star is the complete incompetence in their resolution attempt for their own admitted mistake.

Just a heads up. I took my 2018 Titan in for it's 15,000 mile oil change last year. The service included new key fob batteries. My key fobs died after 1 year. It turns out they used Dollar Store Sun Beam cheap batteries. Good thing I requested my used batteries at the time and they are Duracells and I put them back in and they are still good.

Another dealership location did not complete the service, but this one swiftly found the issues and completed the work. They were also very attentive and thorough to ensure I left satisfied with my car worries.

I brought my 2013 altima in for a hood latch recall.
Service advisor was nice, and vehicle was finished in a timely manner.
However, all of hood fasteners were present and new when I brought my vehicle in for service, but now most are now missing or damaged after getting it back.

Bought a used car from here in May 2024. Overall experience was good initially, then dropped to okay.
The good: salesman was no pressure, price was decent, and they didn't try to harangue me into financing it or getting a warranty. I noticed a couple of things wrong (alignment, spark plugs not inspected & replaced, car needed detailing, and fob battery). I left it with them and they did get it aligned.
The disappointing: The wash and detailing didn't happen, neither did the key fob battery replacement. They said they were going to inspect the spark plugs and I asked them to replace them since they'd be in there anyways (since that is what the service interval required it); they did inspect but did not replace it. When I picked it up the car it had a chip in the windshield. I suppose I could have made a fuss about it, but it was 6.30pm, Service was closed, and I had driven from San Francisco to pick it up - I didn't want to waste time arguing and doing another roundtrip.
Conclusion: I'd buy from them again, but I'd make sure to take the day off when doing the pickup so I have enough time to be a PITA if things are not as promised.
