“It is a good place to buy some Chinese dry goods, and canned groceries! Besides the dried Ginseng, they carried a good variety of other dry items! Prices were competitive for the Chinatown area in Oakland! Beats making the trip to San Francisco for ginseng! Services! was good and helpful! The clerk does know their items well!”

“This is one of my favorite stores in Chinatown, it's a lot like the Ben Franklin shops of my childhood. They have great toys, crafts, hardware, housewares, accessories, and pajamas and shoes, and snacks! They really do have everything. We get our house slippers here. You can't beat their prices and the owners are pleasant.”

“This dollar Tree is one of the best in the area. The only problem is that it's the only one for Berkeley, North Oakland, Albany, and nearby El Cerrito. So there serving a large group of people being closer then others. So sometimes the shelves are bare. But the employees are nice and welcoming. And dressed nicely. The next store is San Pablo and it's always trashy. Stuff thrown all over. And bad attitudes.”
