Totally adore COSTCO where we've shopped for 30 years now!! For EVERYTHING. Seriously. Household (including big TV) plus food plus flowers plus BLINDS for whole house. Cannot believe the savings and the staff are so friendly. Plus I adore seeing all the different families shopping together. Probably the BEST KEPT SECRET is the Optical Department where I've gotten amazing high end designer eyeglasses for $130, $115?! Fendi, Rayban, Chanel, Christian La Croix. Amazing And fabulous service w opticians & fitting staff. The BEST.

I purchased a whole pizza over 45 minutes ago hoping it was ready however they did not even bother to check the order numbers like what's the point in having order numbers if they're not going to use it. It's getting ridiculous. It's so frustrating because they should at least check if it was ready instead of telling me there's a line. Yea, I can see there's a line but why can't you just check the order number. It's way too crowded and people just act like they own the whole aisle.

I live in Oakland and there are a few Costco's in the East Bay but I prefer to go to the Richmond one which is off the 580 or 80.This Costco is decent sized and most of them organized pretty well. They have a big parking lot which sometimes is almost fully packed, I usually try to go at off peak times.I don't have a gas car anymore but I used to get gas there, recommend doing early in the morning to avoid a line.I do get prescriptions from their Pharmacy and have always had good experiences with their pharmacies, no problems getting prescriptions filled.I also have dogs, so my wife and I like this Costco because right down the street from Point Isabel.

Great price for a giant hot dog on a bun and a drink but you gotta buy at the check stands ahead of time then get in line again to get your food!!!!! Definitely not the place to go if you want "fast" food. LOL

Any given day or time this parking lot will drive you to drink! And speaking of that, why are there 2 full aisles PLUS a huge middle section of alcohol?? Is the parking lot the reason they sell so much alcohol??

Cornisha at Costco in Richmond, Ca. is amazing! My online flower order via Costco.com was cancelled for an undetermined reason (the rep wasn't able to identify the reason). As a result, I was left scrambling at the last minute to find 300 pink roses to create centerpieces for my dear Grandmother's memorial service. Cornisha was so helpful, resourceful and helped to calm me down. She realized I was in a stressful situation and helped me to find all of the roses I needed. I could not have done it without her! The centerpieces turned out beautifully and I am so thankful for her help! There were two other ladies (I can't recall their names) but they definitely were not as willing to help me resolve my situation. They told me to come back the next day because the floral guy had left for the day and they deliver early in the morning. The floral guy was still there (and very helpful as well) and there was no delivery scheduled for the next day. Either way, Cornisha is a gem and Costco is lucky to have her! She should be recognized.

This Costco sells rotten apples and other produce that is rotten. They need quality control to go through their stock and remove the rotten items. Additionally, I've been overcharged several times. Check your receipt before you leave ...one of the employees in particular is very careless

I love coming to this Costco. I could park on the side street, mainly bc I don't buy a lot of stuff. I'm so in love with their new Heirloom Fresh Blue Eggs!!! I can't wait to try their new cookies!!

Probably the worst Costco Ive ever been to. I came here and was speaking spanish to a family member. Cashier got upset (conversation had nothing to do with cashier) and started making RACIST remarks about Latinos. I decided to give this place a second chance DAYS later, and stood in a line for about 10 minutes just for the cashier to cut off the line right before it was my turn. I advised the cashier I had stood here for a few minutes and she said " I dont care I have to clock out" Honestly I cannot believe how downhill this location has gone.

I've been shopping at Costco for about 40 years - since they were Price Club, and just taken over by Costco (Price/Costco in those days). I was on my father's card first, and then got my own Executive Membership, when I started a business of my own and did a LOT of shopping at Costco. When I bought a house, I furnished a lot of it from Costco. The quality and service was always great. Now, however, the service has slipped so much. It may be because I moved to this different city 2 1/2 years ago, and it's a problem particular to this one - I don't know, but I have been repeatedly very disappointed with the service recently. I even wrote to the corporate office this past year regarding an issue, and got no response. Please, Costco -do better!

BOUGHT A DISHWASHER FROM COSTCO - ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! We purchased a dishwasher from Costco on 11/25. They included free delivery and installation. Unbenounced to us, they subcontracted it out to RXO, who subcontracted it out to S & R (Solid & Reliable) Trucking Company to deliver and install it. The delivery team arrived, didn't have it on their orders to install it, but did it anyway, and in the process ruined our countertops and it was installed improperly. Not leveled, and sticking out of the opening, leaning forward. Alarms and error codes went off on the first load. We have called Costco REPEATEDLY (4 weeks) for help - and they keep passing us around. There has been ZERO RESPONSE to come check this install, despite many repeated attempts! 5 days later while waiting for the Install Team to come and figure it out, (which they never did) we realized it was FLOODING our kitchen. Now -- 4+ weeks later, a remediation company has ripped out our kitchen, counters, sink, disposal, and flooring and NO ONE FROM COSTCO will come to help us or take accountability! They want us to file a claim with OUR homeowners policy! We are living in a nightmare! Be aware that if you have something delivered or installed by Costco, and it causes $35,000 damage to your home (Disaster Company estimate), they will NOT take responsibility and will defer and deflect. As a 40 year Executive member of Costco, I cannot believe how awful their level of customer relations and service is! A total nightmare that ruined our Christmas and now we are weeks if not MONTHS from getting a functional kitchen, new flooring, and having our lives put back together.
