So creative to have a beautiful garden made of glass flowers, pumpkins, fruits, and other things found in nature. The brilliant colors and concept, how can anyone resist. Great job to you both for sharing your extraordinary gifts with the world!!!

My wife and I had been looking forward to going to the studio after seeing our neighbors collection of glass pumpkins from Cohn Stone Studios. We went yesterday and have to say that it far exceeded our expectations. The studio is located in an industrial part of Richmond, easy to get to and convenient to park. When we walked thru the front door i felt like i was transported to a glass factory in Murano Italy. Each glass piece more beautiful than the next. The glass pumpkins artfully displayed in the back garden, scattered amidst one of the cutest gardens i have ever seen. The glass pumpkins and gords, the vases all magnificent as well as affordable. I was prepared to spend way more than we did for 6 pieces of art. If you love glass work and you want to have something to pass down through generations then go to Cohn Stone. Bring your camera, the back garden alone is worth the trip there.

We get very excited every time we receive their open house notification in the mail. We then debate, "Oh, do we need another piece? We already have quite a few pieces already. Oh, what the heck, we'll just go take a look..." And we always come home with another piece of artwork, or two. We had a custom wall display unit built just to house all the pieces. We love their pumpkins and squash, the leaf vases, the tortoise shell series (our fav), eternal flame, orion, etc. etc. One of these days we'll have to get some of those glass mushrooms too. Be sure to check out their beautiful back garden where they incorporate their art pieces into the landscape. I could sit there all day to enjoy the sight, and the sounds of birds and the water fountain. Their two friendly dogs are always there - we love people who work with their pets around!

Beautiful showroom. I have seen a lot of glass, but this place is worth the trip. Before moving to San Francisco from Wisconsin, I used to make certain that I visit their studio.
