I left my truck to get re worked,due to the mechanic not fixing the issue the first time. Claudio the owner parked my truck outside it was towed I got the tow letter almost a week later. I called c&d asked where's my truck they said we don't know we thought you took it. I told them it was towed because they left out in the street. They didn't bother to even call me. O asked them to pay to get it out and they refused and hung up on me. The owner than told me if I had a problem to bad because I didn't get my receipt from him and he would just deny if I took him to court. He still has the truck key and still won't answer my calls. This place is the worst auto mechanic I have ever came across.

Extremely satisfied with the service and pricing of the oil change and spark plug replacement that they did for me. It was hundreds of dollars less than what I would have paid elsewhere and you can tell they are very honest about what they do. Claudio and his wife were so friendly, and it was such a quick and easy process. I'll definitely be back next time I need something done with my car.

Being new to this area I was very nervous bringing my vehicle in for repair. I called a few places for estimate and he was cheaper by quite a bit so I brought my vehicle in. He promptly called after confirming my issue and ordering alternator. Of course a Jeep has special everything so he let me know immediately the price he had told me was incorrect and why.I will always bring my family's vehicles here when needed and would highly recommend to anyone needing car repair, they are honest, fast and reliable.He took time to explain the alternator pricing and I needed a new battery. The price was comparable to others for just the alternator.

Took my car in because of a coolant problem. First off the parts were upcharged and it was just overpriced. Second, the day I get my car back I go to fill up gas and it reads 130 miles of range... 100 miles later and it also reads 130 miles of range. I have owned this car for 2 years and never had a problem with the fuel system. Whether it was pure negligence or intentional, Claudio wont take ownership so I now need to go to another shop and get this fixed before it stands me somewhere without gas... Thanks Claudio...

This auto repair shop is amazing! It's a family business and it shows. Everything from the service, the price, and the promptness with which they helped handle my car troubles was super smooth. Car problems are stressful and a pain in the butt but this shop will help make the whole process easy, convenient, and you never have to worry about breaking the bank because they are very very reasonable and do great work!

I have been using this repair shop for many years probably about 10 years. i haven't had any problems with Mr. Claudio he has always been very honest with me. I have never tried to get discounts from him cuz I always feel the estimated prices are fair enough. Regarding used parts comment on the reviews I want to say that he always lets me know about parts prices and I have sometimes chosen original parts for motor transmission and timing belt repairs other times aftermarket for less important areas and maybe a couple times I chose from the junk yard due to the fact the part was a water reserved tank or stuff like that, that don't have any mechanical functions on the car, but like I said he lets me take that choice, and warned me about the quality of a used part and i know if it fails that isn't his problem but mine cuz i chose to go cheap. I have never asked for a lower price on the labor because I believe honesty is priceless, I used to live in San Rafael, San pablo and Sacramento then I end up living in Richmond from 2011 to now, but from 2003 to 2011 i always found how other mechanics were dishonest with me but since I found C & D Repair & Towing I gotta tell you this is the place where i take my cars, very honest mechanic and I am very happy with his service.

I brought my vehicle to this guy and he charged me $700 for a check engine light. A few days later the light came back on again. He said if I paid him $140 more, he would take care of it. Now I have the check engine light again. He's hiding from me every time I come to talk to him and won't refund my money.Bad experience. This guy is is a rip-off!

Claudio is AMAZING!!!! He has been our family mechanic for about four years now and I highly recommend him to anyone. He is an honest hardworking mechanic that always tells you what your options are and what he recommends. He is not pushy and will tow your car if needed to. Everyone that I recommend him to is highly satisfied with his work, pricing, and most of all time frame. If you are looking for someone he is def the one!
