“Very kind, thoughtful owner. We didn't end up using his services because we wanted our antique table disassembled for storage instead of restored (ultimately didn't make sense to do) but he spent a good 10 minutes brainstorming how best to store our table even after we declined his work.”

“This family own business is wonderful. Both the mother and the daughter, Sonam and Pachen, make you feel at home and appreciated. They are kind and generous and loving.

They bring beautiful energy into their shop and it’s always so joyful to be there.

The crystals are amazing I buy all my crystals from them.

They also sell beautiful charm bracelets. They allow you to take your time and pick what you want and they put the bracelets together for you I bought them for my three granddaughters. They loved the bracelets as well as Sonam and Pachen.

If you’re in San Francisco, and you want to treat yourself, buy someone a gift or just have a wonderful experience, I highly recommend you go to Tibetan Golden Lotus!”

“If you love antique prints and maps, this place is definitely a place to stop. Rene is such a nice lady and is very kind. She also makes her own artistic sketches that she sells. This place is very unique and gives off an old world charm. You can also find other antique items such as pottery and other antique decorative goods. I come by every few weeks to see what’s new or just for a nice chat with Rene. Also dog friendly, highly recommend !”

“I went into Solano Rug Gallery and was greeted by a sweet man named Iraj. I've had this rug for years and now looks brand new thanks to him. I was very skeptical giving someone my expensive rug, but I am so glad I did. He had it cleaned and looking new in a matter of days! This man runs a great and honest business so I had to share.”

“Great spot to browse and take it all in. Look beyond the Knick knacks at the interior of the historic space. Hardwood floors, grand staircase, retro lighting. Ask them about the history if you feel like getting into a conversation!”

“Love this antique shop! Has so many awesome things and I wish I had more money. The man in there was so nice, I forgot his name but his mom started the business. And my son asked for his help on the furbies and he did, he helped him open each one and see if they worked. I definitely would love to come back and spend hours going through all their nooks and crannies. I'm sure there's more wonderful treasure hidden away. I probably over spent but it was worth it! I can't wait to go back!”

“Cute shop, affordable clothes. Lots of options for souvenirs. I was disappointed not to find a tiny mug option. They only have large and espresso size but nothing in the middle or a smaller mug that is not medium size. Hard to fly with a huge mug and hard to drink a small cup of tea/coffee in a shot glasses size mug.”

“They used to have an architect firm here that barely attracted any flies inside, then this wonderful, eclectic cute antique shop took over. They invited the lady from Moss plants to sell their beautiful plants and the result is balanced gentle magic. Here you can find gifts for yourself or for a special occasion, or no reason at all. Walking in here was a nice fresh break for a Sunday, greeted graciously by Nan who let me wonder around the shop without policing me or being a typical pushy sales person, quiet the opposite. Her level of education and appreciation for art and antique recognized the good client in me and others who happened to walked inside, and that's a good sales person. In the meantime I had to share this with more folks. Perfect place to buy a nice, cozy, or an elegant last minute gift.”

“My fiancé and I most highly recommend Zaver & Mor. The store has a captivating selection of jewelry from local artists including many unique choices for engagement rings. We found an engagement ring with a setting we loved and the owner helped us source a different center stone because we had our hearts set on a green sapphire in the same shade as a center stone from another ring in the store. The entire shopping experience was personalized and relaxed. The owner Rada is a wonderful resource, knows her gems, is transparent, and cares about sustainable practices. We are so glad that we found this store and have Zaver & Mor as a part of our engagement story.”

“Please note that the brick and mortar location is no longer a gallery. The owner has moved the gallery contents to his apartment up the street, which can be viewed by appointment. I was lucky enough to call and catch him while he was in to view his amazing collection. I was thoroughly impressed by his array of strange objects and curios. I do wish that he would open a better website (most of the photos on the current website are inoperable) - something on Instagram, Chairish, or 1st Dibs would really expand his clientele and make it more accessible. *UPDATE: The website works better on a computer browser than on a cell phone!*”

“I’ve always driven by but never stopped in since it was after hours. I got a chance to pop in today and I found so many treasures! The owner/buyer had a great eye for unusual and precious antiques. I picked up fantastic Christmas ornaments, a stunning smoky topaz ring, and vintage Japanese porcelain aquarium decor. The latter could be used in plant terrariums too. They kindly offered my dog a treat and made me feel welcome.”

“Fun shop with a good variety of different items and collectables. They sell all kinds of touristy items as well as some nicer pieces. Prices seem to be a bit lower than some other shops in the area. They have a good incense selection with some types I haven't seen elsewhere.”

“Insane curation of vintage furniture, art and decor located in Oakland. I frequented the shop back when it was next door and in a much smaller space. It’s now expanded to a beautiful and generous location (used to be a Bed Bath and Beyond). I went in today and loved their new space and layout.

Most curation falls under mid-century modern and Scandinavian design. Some 80s and 90s as well. Prices are on the mid to higher-end but fair, selection is similarly diverse. This place isn’t a quick-stop though, best enjoyed with time because there is just so much good stuff to look at. I purchased a set of vintage Japanese side tables that are probably my favorite pieces I own at the moment. Great music, too.”
