stopped for gas, and wanted to add only ice to my own personal cup bc the ice in my cup melted—it’s 97° out today. the clerk wanted to charge me for ice. lol. i was going to pay but then changed my mind while waiting for him to slowly ring up the customer in front of me bc it’s kind of bulllshit to charge someone for ice when every other establishment provides free ice and tap water. i didn’t like his demeanor and wonder if that’s the reason why this gas station constantly has “help wanted” signs posted on their door.

I purchased seven lotto scratchers one a $10 ticket a sparkling to riches. The clerk was having problems trying to get it out of the role of tickets. He leaned down underneath the counter and he worked on it for approximately 4 minutes. He finally said he got it released.. he barely showed me the top of it how it was tore up. So he gave me the next one in order. I asked him what he would do with that ticket he said I'll have to buy it. I came back 30 minutes later. For two reasons one to get my receipt that he forgot to give me. And two to cash in the winning lotto tickets. I asked him if I could see the ticket that was damaged.He said he already purchased the ticket. I told him my understanding is the proper procedure would be to damage the ticket out that he didn't have to buy it in fact I don't believe he's allowed to be buying a ticket that's damaged or not when he's on duty. Especially the one that pulled it out and could clearly see if it was a winner. I asked if he had won he said actually it was the other Clerk that was on his lunch break that purchased it because they have the same policy you can't buy it if you're on duty. And I said oh so the clerk that purchased it is on lunch break in the back room. I asked out of curiosity can you ask if he won. He said he cant ask as cant leave his register with customers so I went out to my car. And I see the tall slender guy from the back room come out and the other clerk start talking to him and then that clerk that said he had originally purchased it or that he would have to purchase it since he damaged it. Came out to my car and said no it was not a winner I don't know why he won't come out to tell you. he's acting like a diva. He was very nervous you could clearly see somebody lied. I wonder if the clerk is aware that I have the ticket number which is the next # from the ticket that he damaged. And so if his supervisor investigate it would clearly be able to tell if that ticket was turned in as a winner. I believe the ticket was a winner. And that this clerk seen it was..purchased it or had other clerk do so. Thats dirty! This is why I'm giving this store a one star.
